Over a hundred people were arrested after anarchy broke out at a beach party for Jeep enthusiasts, with mass brawls, a burning vehicle and lewd behavior in Texas .
More then ten thousand people have called for the 'Go Topless Galveston' event to be cancelled after police arrested 125 people from Thursday to Saturday on Crystal Beach.
Shocking footage shows half-naked men jumping out of 4x4s and pounding each other over the head during the day and into the evening, as the party-goers became increasingly aggressive.
Police rushed to shoreline to deal with car crashes, public intoxication, drink driving, vehicle burglary and other offenses, after the party spiraled out of control.
At least six people were hospitalized by accidents as reckless drivers sped through the water in their 4x4s at high speed during the event which is named after the removable roof fitted to many Jeeps.
Men could be seen flailing their arms at each other as riotous havoc broke out on Crystal Beach in Texas over the weekend at the 'Go Topless' Jeep event
Women wore bikinis to the event to celebrate the Jeep vehicle on Crystal Beach in Texas, the woman on the right appears to be using a drinking funnel
An ambulance helicopter was rushed in due to the volume of people with injuries and police have blamed larger than expected crowds for the chaos, the Drive reported.
Sheriff Henry Trochesset said it was lucky that 'no one died.'
He said a number of people fell from their vehicles and hit their heads, that there was a head-on collision between two cars and another had burst into flames with a passenger being hauled from the wreckage, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Controlling the pandemonium was made difficult by the sheer number of large vehicles and the high tide which prevented patrol cars from accessing parts of the beach.
Heather Farr, who has been going to the party for the last four years, told the Houston Chronicle: 'It was very difficult to even walk through all the cars and people, much less drive.'
A confrontation appeared to break out between a group on a truck and another on the ground (left) which descended into fist swinging in broad daylight (right)
At nightfall another group were seen scrapping, with caution thrown to the wind and punches raining down on heads as they tussled on the floor

Chaos (left to right) Charles Allen was charged with drivign while intoxicated, Joshua Almanza was charged with public intoxication and Ginger Bratcher was detained and released by Galveston County Sheriff's Office over the weekend
Anarchy (left to right) Paula Carroll was charged with public intoxication, Jaqueline Guijosa with criminal trespassing and Kaylee Henderson with not having a seatbelt were all charged by Galveston County Sheriff's Office over the weekend
Farr described seeing at least one car speeding through the waves at around 50mph, with an officer totally powerless to stop it due to the traffic.
'In previous years, I've seen them stop many of the people riding on top of or on the hood of buggies or jeeps and tell them to get down, which prevents the accidents like we saw this weekend,' Farr told the Houston Chronicle, 'If they are unable to get anywhere, they can't stop people and tell them to pour out their beers... which means people drink more.'
The Galveston county emergency service teams were overwhelmed and had to call in back-up from six other authorities.
The beach was made busier by a simultaneous event called, 'MAGA Beach Bash 2019.' by the Patriot Network.
Another Facebook group Rednecks with Paychecks Offroad have denied responsibility for the carnage, saying they were simply having sensible fun on the beach.
Many wore patriotic attire to the event like this woman who wore a USA bikini and had a shawl with the stars and stripes of the flag

So far more than 18,000 have signed a petition calling on authorities to band the event.
Alicia Lopez commented on the proposal: 'I'm glad your doing this. It was my first time out there. That event was just too wild. There was a couple next to us doing something rated x out in the open. This event does need to be stopped.'
However, others responded to the petition to say misbehaved youngsters had tarnished an otherwise fun party.
Yvonne Pixley wrote: 'I don't think it was jeep people dancing on the beach and on trucks half naked shaking their butts and boobs at anybody and everybody.
'It was drunk under age girls. Not jeepers. Get your facts straight before you blame people with jeeps. And where were these girls parents. Bet you enjoyed the show put on by your daughters, if you even care.'

Police struggled to cope with the number of large vehicles on the beach as well as the high tide which made it difficult to access with their patrol cars
The petitioners say that the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce replied to their request : 'We will be working with County and State agencies to see what can be done by law to help alleviate issues of this nature.'
The Texas Open Beaches Act allows for free public use of the beach and there is no way to limit crowd numbers, with the only remedy a larger police presence Sheriff Trochesset explained.
There are similar 'Go Topless' events organised by motorists across the country and the name comes from the Jeep Wrangler's removable roof.
That's what happens when you leave the gates of th...

Freeform’s 1980s slasher-flick series lets its young summer-campers go for a dip before the killing starts in preview teaser
Remember those old slasher films from the Eighties, when summer camp was place where teen’s could listen to the Cure and skinny-dip at the lake — when they weren’t in danger of facing a killer lurking in the woods, that is? Dead of Summer , the upcoming TV show from Freeform (formerly known as ABC Family), finds a terror beyond the self-evident horrors of living with a bunch of hormonal adolescents for three months.
Set in the halcyon days of hair metal and Reagan, this throwback horror series takes place in the fictional Camp Stillwater, and in the clip above, the counselors abscond to the lake for a “Stillwater traidtion” — a late-night swim in their skivvies. What these kids don’t know, however, is that there’s apparently a long-dormant evil that’s been awakened amidst these cabins in the woods. Their only defense is camp director Deb Carpenter ( Once Upon a Time ‘s Elizabeth Mitchell), a former attendee who reopens the property after a long hiatus due to confidential reasons.
Will Deb learn from the example of Janeane Garofalo in Wet Hot American Summer and protect her young charges from danger? Or is that Carpenter surname a dark omen? No telling until the premiere on June 28 at 9p.m. on Freeform. But hey, it’s not called Safe Fun Summer .
