The City Select 2 stroller was released in the summer of 2021. replacing the older City Select and City Select Lux strollers. It comes with 24 different seating options and can convert into triple strollers with the addition of a glider board (second seat and car seat sold separately). The stroller is 20percent smaller and weighs a little less than the previous models. It also comes with a wide selection of accessories including an abdominal bar (included in the Eco Collection version), second seat, handmuff and console for the parent.
Most of our parent testers loved the large storage basket which can accommodate a large amount of gear. The seats reclined easily and there was plenty of legroom for the kids. The brake pedal at the back is simple to use using just one hand. The stroller is longer and is more difficult to maneuver but it is worth it for parents who enjoy spacious strollers.
Another thing we like is that the City Select 2 is compatible with Baby Jogger, Britax, Graco, Chicco and Maxi-Cosi infant car seats (adapters are available separately). This means that you can utilize a single or double stroller from birth to well past toddlerhood.
The stroller isn't inexpensive, but it's likely to be the only stroller you'll ever need to purchase, so if you can afford it, we believe it's worth the investment. This is particularly true when you consider the quality and durability of the design. The finish is beautiful and the fabric connections feel strong without looking rumpled.
