Top 5 Wallpaper Apps

Wallpaper is the first thing that anyone looks at when they have your phone. Keeping an eye catching wallpaper can say a lot about you. So here's my take on 5 best wallpaper apps available on Play Store.

1. Frame

After spending a few minutes with this app, I loved it so much that it climbed to the first spot on the list of my favorite wallpaper apps. After you open the app you'll be greeted with four sections which can be reached by swiping side ways. The sections are divided as: Photo Of The Day, Popular, Featured and information about the app. You can check the wallpapers in Popular and Featured section by scrolling up and down. Though there is no mention of the image resolution,but it gives you an option to save wallpapers in Raw.

2. Cuto

Cuto is the simple available wallpaper app on Play Store. Scrolling up and down gives you the different wallpapers. There are no section or wallpaper categories in this app. Short pressing any wallpaper display variety of options like Download, Dim or to set the wallpaper. Long pressing any wallpaper adds it to your favorites. It also gives you an option to apply wallpapers on watch face.

3. Backdrops

If you love material design wallpapers then this is the right app for you. Wallpapers in this app are designed by backdrops team which you won't find in any other app. High quality wallpapers uploaded by users approved by backdrops team are found in community section. The app also contains different categories and collection to choose from.

4. InsWall

This app contains 400+ high quality wallpapers with more being added daily. Selecting and scrolling down the wallpaper gives you info about the wallpaper like category, resolution, size and date on which the wallpaper was added. Taping on Web option lets you save the wallpaper in Raw.

5. Tapet

Unlike all other wallpaper apps, Tapet does not require Internet access. Wallpapers are automatically generated from different patterns. Wallpapers can be set to update automatically on hourly or daily basis. Swiping up generates a new wallpaper. Color of that wallpaper can be changed by swiping right. Keeping the same color, pattern can be changed by swiping left. The app lets you choose from 90 different patterns. Purchasing the pro version lets you select how often you want to see each pattern.
