Simply the Best ! Would give my right leg to replace it
This model of Tony Little's Gazelle Sprintmaster is quite an upgrade from the very first model that came out. In many ways, it is different and also has more to offer. First let me say that it is just as easy to operate as the first version. There is very little impact or stress inflicted on your ankles, feet and knees when using this machine. It is great for use after an injury that requires rehabilitation. The water bottle holder is different and quite secure. The water bottle is decent quality, nothing to brag about but, it is free so it's not worth complaining about. There are also 3 high energy DVD's included in the package. That's really cool because if you are the type of person who needs some motivation, Tony Little really dishes it out. It almost seems like you have someone to work out with because he talks to you throughout the workout. You can do the whole body or work on a targeted area. The information display on the front of the machine is the best upgrade of all because it takes AA batteries instead of those button cell batteries so they are easier to replace. I feel this is a great low impact machine that can work for pretty much anyone and just about any age.

Design
Design is improved from the original version in several ways, most of them are cosmetic except the extra DVD's, water bottle and the batteries it requires.
This is a decent machine. I understand how people with knee problems could really benefit from this kind of workout. However I have to say, for me personally I don't feel like it really has enough resistance for me to get the most from my workout. I'm sure just getting moving is still healthy and all, but I would have to do this for hours to be sure I got in a sufficient workout. I just don't have that kind of time.
I've been on other Gazelles that I like better than this one. I'm not sure what the difference is since they all look basically the same to me.

Performance
The machine itself functions the way it's supposed to. I just don't personally feel as if it performs as well as I'd like any exercise equipment to perform. There's just not enough resistance.

Comfort
It's definitely quite comfortable to use. I can see this being great for someone who was just starting to workout or for someone with particularly bad joints.

Ease of Use
This glides very smoothly which makes it very easy to use.
The Tony Little Gazelle Sprint master is the best elliptical machine. Not only does it not take up very much space unlike most elliptical machines. It is silent, it does not make a bunch of noise like lots of exercise machines so you are easily able to workout on the Tony Little Gazelle Sprint master and watch tv without having to turn up the volume on your tv or not hear everything going on.It is so lightweight, easy to move from room to room or store away. It glides with ease. It is gentle on your joints and doesn't hurt your joints, even if you have knee problems you may still be able to use a tony gazelle sprint master even though other exercise machines hurt your legs. Trust me it is not only more effective then running on a treadmill but safer and easier on your joints. I love my Tony Little Gazelle Sprintmaster and I bet you will love it to just after using it for a few minutes.
This machine is absolutely, 100 percent, the easiest to understand and use machine you can buy. I would have given it all the stars, except for the fact that the assembly was a little complicated. I have a 3 year old little girl and a five year old little boy who absolutely *love *this machine! they play on it like a standing swing and exercize at the same time. One of my favorite features is that it is very quiet, so I can use it and watch tv at the same time. I also really love the cup holder because you do not have to stop to get a drink. The hydroulic system is optional and very quick and easy to activate. Once you do, you will really love the burn you can get in your muscles from using that function. I am also very impressed with how easy it is to vary your workout by just changing your stance or arm poisitioning. Depending on where you buy the system it could come with either a dvd or booklet showing different ways to use the Gazelle SprintMaster.
We got this machine because I needed some gentle method of exercise b/c of bad joints, and walking outside in the heat is not my cup of tea. This machine is definitely better than a treadmill. You can use either your arm or leg muscles to operate the machine and the hydraulics give you enough resistance so that you actually feel as though you are doing more than simply walking. It's not a great deal of resistance, however.

It takes up room, of course, as does any exercise machine, but definitely less than a lot of other machines that are on the market. And other than being awkward to try to fold up (I have to have my husband do it for me), the storage feature is nice. It does fold up to a surprisingly compact size to store.

Obviously you can't do a great deal on this machine- it's designed to work out your arms and to be a walking/running substitute, so that is not a flaw with this machine. And it is definitely nice that I can exercise without having painful knees for the next week or so.
The **Tony Little Gazelle Sprintmaster is a great machine for a limited space. It folds for storage in a closet or under a bed, but MAKE SURE you lock the pedals in place first, or you may end up with a broken foot! This peice of equipment offers hydroulic systems that can be attached to the machine to increase restiance. It has a heart monitoring system, that supposedly works through the handles letting you know milage, heart rate and calories burned. The problem is mine never worked. It has a handy wattle bottle holder that can be placed on either side, which is great for lefties. The foot pads have a raised section at the to to help prevent slippage. I origanally bought it to use as I was watchi9ng tv, unfourtanetly, it is a little too loud for that. I grew bored with this machine pretty quickly. It comes with dvds' that supposedly offer many variations on exercises for it, but really, there are only 4 or 5 varaitions. I suggest either a more multi-purpose machine, or a gym membership.**
