The hentai content was something Key only did to sell their novels when the genre was mostly eroges. They didn't set out to make the most erotic fiction in the business, they just shoehorned some 18+ images and some horribly placed and paced text to their stories in order to get noted and with luck make a name for themselves.

Tomoyo After isn't very good? I played through and absolutely loved the Clannad VN, it's currently one of my favorite visual novels of all time. So naturally, when I heard that the English patch finally released for Tomoyo After, I decided to take advantage of it.

There plays a scene after the credits where Tomoya and Tomoyo have a 6 or 7 sentence conversation. Basically it is suggesting either *Tomoyo Died in her old age and finally met up with Tomoya or *Tomoya recovered after the surgery and they lived happily ever after Unfortunately, we really have no clue as to which it is.
Since Tomoyo After is an Afterstory equivalent of Tomoyo route, the story will be linear here since its just taking off from Tomoyo route. There is only 1 true end with 2 bad ends. Not as long as Clannad though, might take 30 hours at most if you go through all endings (not including the bonus RPG game Takafumi and Dungeons).
