Tom Holland Announces Hiatus from Acting to Focus on Mental Health

Renowned actor Tom Holland, best known for his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has announced that he will be taking a step back from acting to prioritize his mental health. The 27-year-old star revealed his decision in an emotional Instagram post, citing the pressures of fame and a demanding work schedule as key factors in his choice.

'I’ve loved every moment of my career, but I need to take a break to focus on myself,' Holland wrote. 'The last few years have been incredible, but also incredibly challenging. It’s important for me to step away and recharge.'

Holland’s breakout role as Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War (2016) catapulted him to global stardom, leading to three solo Spider-Man films and appearances in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
