Welcome aboard, future astronaut! Ready to embark on an epic journey through the cosmos and conquer the moon? This guide will walk you through the essential steps to succeed in To The Moon!. Strap in, and let's get started on your space mission.

1. Mine and Collect Space Bucks

Your journey begins with mining. To do so, go right to the Earn tab and press the golden button to start mining. The mining capacity is limited to 3 hours, which means that you need to collect precious Space Bucks by tapping on that button to start mining again. These coins are the lifeblood of your mission, fueling your progress and enabling you to build your spaceship. Regular mining is key to a successful mission as you get valuable resources to upgrade your ship parts as well as to recruit the crew. Don’t let those Space Bucks float away!

Mind that the storage gets full every 3 hours, so you need to claim the mined coins and resume mining.

2. Build Your Spaceship Part by Part

With Space Bucks in hand, it’s time to start constructing your spaceship. The building process is done part by part, each piece bringing you closer to your dream vessel. What’s more important, it also boosts your mining power: with each upgraded part, you earn more coins per hour.

Invest wisely in each component, and soon, you’ll have a much greater mining power and a fully functional spacecraft ready for its lunar mission.

To launch an expedition to the moon, all the parts above should be upgraded to the max level.

3. Earn More with the Help of Friends

Invite your friends to join the lunar adventures:

• you both get welcome bonus of Space Bucks and a Space Capsule; the more friends you invite, the greater this bonus. With every 7 friends invited, the bonus for the next 7 increases.
• the referral system is 3-level, meaning that you earn not only from your friends' income, but also from those players that you friends invite, plus the friends of those players, too!

Head to the Crew tab --> Referral section --> ? button next to your referral link for more details.

• you’ll receive a percentage of all the coins they mine as long as they play.

The more friends you refer, the greater your earnings and the stronger your crew!

To invite a friend, go to the Crew tab --> Refer & Earn; copy your referral link or send it directly from the app to your Telegram contacts. At the bottom of that screen, you'll find the number of your invited friends and how many coins they've earned you. A friend becomes your referral after clicking through your link.

4. Recruit Friends as Your Crew

No space mission is complete without a stellar crew. Invite your friends to join To The Moon!: having enough referrals unlocks crew member recruitment for an expedition. The more friends you invite, the faster your mission progresses and the more crew members you can unlock. Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!

If you'd run out of friends to invite, feel free to purchase specially trained bots (available for Telegram Stars).

• Pilot (1 friend; for free): The skilled navigator who ensures your ship travels smoothly and efficiently through space.
• Engineer (2 friends; 1000 space bucks): The technical expert who keeps your spaceship in top-notch condition, fixing any issues that arise.
• Navigator (3 friends; 10000 space bucks): The guide who charts your course through the stars, avoiding hazards and ensuring you stay on track.
• Scientist (4 friends; 5000 space bucks): The brainiac who researches new technologies and strategies to give your mission an edge.
• Medic (5 friends; 10000 space bucks): The healthcare hero who ensures your crew stays healthy and ready for action.
• Signal Tech (6 friends; 25000 space bucks): The communications specialist who keeps you connected with mission control and other ships.
• Technician (7 friends; 50000 space bucks): The handy person who assists the engineer in maintaining and upgrading the ship’s systems.

For each expedition, you need to hire all the crew by inviting up to 7 friends, and earn more space bucks per hour.

Important: if you've invited more friends than recruited for one launch, the friends that you haven't used for the flight will remain and be available for the next expedition.

5. Keep an Eye on Missions

Missions in To The Moon! are quick tasks that you can complete to earn additional Space Bucks. Be sure to check them out regularly—extra Space Bucks are always a good thing!

Completing missions not only helps you progress faster but also adds an extra layer of fun and strategy to your cosmic journey. So, keep an eye on your mission list and maximize your rewards!

6. Discover Ancient Capsules

In the vast expanse of space, the quest to conquer the moon is not just about building ships and recruiting crew members. Hidden throughout the galaxy are ancient Loot Capsules, remnants of an advanced civilization that once sought to harness the moon’s incredible power. These capsules contain treasures that will be snatched only by the bravest space pioneers.

The ancients used these capsules to store valuable resources and advanced AI bots, designed to assist future explorers in their cosmic endeavors. Now, as we set out on our great lunar odyssey, discovering and unlocking these capsules have become a new part of our mission.

Every Loot Capsule you find brings us closer to unlocking the full potential of our own technology. By collecting and utilizing these capsules, we gain the power to enhance our ships, strengthen our crews, and ultimately, secure our place among the stars.

What are Loot Capsules?

Loot Capsules are specialized loot containers that offer various rewards to help you progress in the game. They come in two types: Space Capsule and Mega Capsule, each differing in the size of the possible loot inside.

Space Capsule:

• Contains a smaller amount of Space Bucks and special bots.

Mega Capsule:

• Offers larger rewards in a space bucks and special bots.

Mind that special bot drop is not guaranteed; check the drop chances in Profile --> Loot Capsules. The higher your level, the higher the rewards you can claim!

How to Obtain Capsules:

1. Completing Daily Missions:

• Earn a Space Capsule every alternate day by completing daily missions.
• On Day 10, receive a Mega Capsule as a bonus reward for your amazingly consistent effort.

2. Playing Star Dust:

• Accumulate progress towards a capsule by playing the Star Dust mini-game.
• A progress bar will show your advancement towards earning a capsule. Mind that the progress bar resets when you exit Star Dust, and the progress will be lost.

3. Inviting Friends:

• Earn a Space Capsule for every friend you refer to the game. Your friend also gets a capsule as a welcome bonus.

Capsule Mechanics:

• Capsule Collection: Collect 5 Space Capsules to receive 1 Mega Capsule.
• Capsule Storage: Capsules are stored in your profile. Access them by going to the Earn tab and clicking on your avatar in the upper right corner.
• Capsule Opening: Capsules can only be opened if you have completed all your missions at the moment of opening.

Complete missions, play Star Dust, invite friends, and collect your capsules to reap the rewards!

7. Set Off for a Lunar Expedition

Once your spaceship is fully built and your crew is on board, it’s time for the most exciting part: the lunar expedition! Launch your ship and head towards the moon. The journey is thrilling and rewarding, as you collect A LOT OF Space Bucks during your expedition. The amount may range depending on your level and luck.

Each successful expedition levels you up. However, keep in mind that your vessel and crew withstand only one expedition. For each successful mission, you'll need to build a new spaceship and invite new friends to unlock crew members for the next journey.

Your level upgrades with each successful lunar expedition carried out, and each time you get a new, cooler ship.

Don’t worry—friends you've already invited will continue to count as your referrals after the flight, earning you a percentage of their mined Space Bucks.

Moon Squads: Key to Conquering the Moon

These special groups are essential for setting up colonies, boosting mining efforts, conducting research, and more. Joining or creating a squad will supercharge your journey to the moon. 

Here’s everything you need to know:

Joining or Creating a Squad

To join a squad, simply follow the invite link from a squad leader. Alternatively, you can join one of the TOP squads from the leaderboard right in the app: Crew tab --> Squads. Prefer to lead? You can set up a squad of your own and invite others to join your mission.

You can join or leave a squad anytime; mind that a squads multiplier applies to your in 3 days from joining the squad.

Squad Ranks and Progression

There are 5 ranks for squads, and the higher the rank, the greater is the space bucks multiplier. 

1. Outpost
2. Base
3. Station
4. Colony
5. Citadel

Ranking up depends on two factors: the number of participants and the total Space Bucks mined by the squad (mining per hour + lunar expedition reward + Star Dust reward). The more active and larger your squad, the higher you’ll climb on the ranking system and leaderboard.

Space Bucks Multipliers

The higher your squad's ranking, the greater the Space Bucks multiplier that each member gets on their income - up to an impressive 1.5x! This multiplier is applied to every member's:

• mining income;
• mission reward;
• expedition reward;
• Star Dust reward.

Three days from joining a squad, you'll start benefiting from the squad’s current multiplier, boosting your mining power and helping you conquer the moon faster.
