The drama of Fuad Ramses is just the touch of emotion that this highly sophisticated yet sarcastic gem of lounge music needs; for me it is the heart of the album. I would love to see new music by Tipsy, masters of chillout psychedelia!

This is a very personal statement, back to 90's at the time when, i stumbled upon Tipsy, a very cool band which mainly uses tropical mambo, calypso and jazzy sounds for his compositions. Hearing them, as well as seeing their psychedelic "60's-esque" visuals really helped me to appreciate the electronic music as a genre without creative boundaries — Thank you Mr. Tim Digulla & David Gardner.
Favorite track: Space Golf.

One afternoon I fell asleep listening to this album and I had the weirdest dream. I dreamt I was sitting in my front yard sipping martinis with Carl Sagan and watching nuclear bombs detonate in the distance. Hell yes.
Favorite track: El Bombo Atomico.

Everywhere at the End of Time is a beautiful masterpiece that needs no introduction if you are already here. Beautiful ambiance and sad overtones make this beautiful album even better. A must listen in my opinion and one that should be done in one sitting by yourself alone. Styl

Tipsy albums are hard, if not impossible, to review. That is simply due to the fact, that there is nothing to compare to them!
They are always very unique sounding, always carrying the distinct sound that only Tipsy can create. Sure it's exotica (quite rare in itself), but I guess no-one has ever made it like this.
Hard to say if this is Tipsys' best, but definetly a continuation to "Uh-Oh!", and that's exactly what I was waiting for.

Exotic Sounds For A Brighter Tomorrow by The Space Cadet Quintet

An empty bliss beyond this World by The Caretaker
supported by 10 fans who also own “Trip Tease”
An absolutely beautiful ambient album made only possible by the genius of James Kirby. With tracks ranging from a warm, comfortable familiarity, to a cold, somber, and even eerie feeling. While it's use of sampling may have people find the project seemingly simple at face value, the sheer craftsmanship Kirby puts into this rich and textured experience makes for an unnerving, yet ultimately melancholic masterpiece of a record. josh

On their debut album Trip Tease, the electronica-lounge duo Tipsy seem to get as much pleasure from playing around with their music as they do playing it. Given that Tim Digulla and David Gardner were involved in industrial and ambient projects previously, it's not a surprise that there are bizarre juxtapositions of mood, tone and texture on this album. What is somewhat surprising is how well the group's blend of state-of-the art editing and retro-exotica-sci-fi kitsch works. Songs like "Liquordelic," "Mr. Excitement" and "El Bombo Atomico" go beyond the intellectual, studio experiments they could have been, blossoming into hothouse hybrids that transcend genres and just sound good. The weightless keyboards and slide guitars on "Space Golf" and "Nude On The Moon" wink at the Atomic Age's preoccupation with living in outer space, while "Oops!" and "Grossenhosen" sound like a collaboration between Carl Stalling , Raymond Scott and the Orb . "Tuatara," "Fuad Ramses" and "Something Tropical" nod to the exotica trend of the '50s and '60s. The album's remarkable arrangements feature bouncy drums, sitars, harps, horns and all sorts of unclassifiable "space" effects that jell into a collection of songs that are retro and cutting edge, bachelor pad and launching pad. A must for sound geeks and space age bachelors alike, Trip Tease is an invigorating debut that only gets better with each listen.
