It is comprised of interconnected rooms that you explore and find keys or items which aid in solving puzzles by combining items in secure rooms that allow you to carry the tools you need to be able to survive.
There will be enemies to fight who can be killed if you don't have ammo in the shotguns or pistols found all over the world of games as you attempt to make sense of the reason and purpose behind doing what you are doing in this mysterious planet.
The game starts off straightforward and easy, however, you will find out that the difficulty rises dramatically in the course of the game, at times, to the point of exhaustion and with enemies that revive and appear out of vents and floors, and more, and simple, simple, but satisfying claustrophobic boss fights.
I'd suggest that it is not the games fault however, if you advance through the game a lot, let's say 2 or 3 hours in and then you stop for a few days coming back can be hard because the game does not give you a list of what you are expected to do next. I personally found the storytelling mechanisms of the female employees and the male and female representation by machines of a communist work environment interesting.
I won't go much in the details to keep spoilers out I'll just note that this isn't an easy tale to comprehend, and you are left to discern the story, based on my personal opinion the meaning behind things because it's not based on logic and reality in the sense that it is.
Graphics/Performance
In terms of graphics and performance, Signalis the game I won't be doing an in-depth review because it is a good game and looks nice due to its unique style of art. It runs efficient and beautifully on every device you play it on, and I really hope that it will come to mobile devices such as iPhone and Android very soon.
I do recommend playing this on an OLED TV or Monitor as it looks beautiful.
