[December 1998] Even before I started in this business, before the Penthouse video, I had a girlfriend who had implants and I thought they were cool. I had already had a son and I didn't like my breasts any more. So I got into this business thinking I could make money and get my boobs done. When I started, everybody--photographers, directors and eventually fans--told me not to change anything, so I never did. I always wanted to for myself, but everyone told me not to. Last year I went through a change. I left my husband, left Elegant Angel and started the new company. It was like a whole life and I decided I was on my own and I was going to do things for me. Just because Patrick [Elegant Angel owner Patrick Collins ] put on this poll and made a big deal of it, people think I was pressured that way. Not true. I did it for me because I always wanted to.
I didn't know I liked girls until I started in porn. It makes me feel good when I work with them.
[on dealing with the risk of HIV in porn] I test like everyone else. I don't work a lot and I am very picky about who I work with. It's still a roll of the dice, but I deal with it. I am as cautious as I can be.
I prefer sex over dialog, but every once in a while I don't mind getting a good dialog role so that I can act and play a character. I haven't really had enough acting roles in my career and I would like some every once in a while so I can show my acting ability as well. I'd like to win an acting award at some point, but you have to have a good role for that. No one has really given me that chance. I've had little roles, but nothing really big that I have ever been excited to play.
My parents are happy where I'm at. My mom would do the same thing if she were my age. She likes that I can spend so much time with the kids and still make good money.
[on how her family feels about her porn career] They think it's cool actually. I've been doing it for a long time and I never did it behind their back. Even after the first movie, I came home, called my mom and told her what I had done. I was a single mom, I was on my own and I had to make a living. I was very excited to make that much money for one day of work. I was on different terms with my family at that time, so I just told them it was what I was doing and I like it, so they accepted it. They were happy that I was making money and happy with what I was doing.

Tiny (just a little over 5'3") but busty and shapely blonde bombshell Tiffany Mynx was born Shannon Colleen Cummings on October 7, 1971, in Upland, California. She is of Irish descent and is the oldest sibling in a small family (she has a younger brother). She was raised in Orange County, California, and left home at age 17. She wound up in an abusive relationship with a man with whom she had a son. Tiffany eventually left this guy and moved to Los Angeles to live with her grandmother. She started out in the adult entertainment industry as a stripper and began performing in explicit hardcore movies at age 20 in February of 1992. She married adult film actor Cody Adams in 1995, had a son with him and divorced him in 1998. Among the awards Mynx has won are an AVN Award for Best Anal Sex Scene--Video in 1994, a XRCO Award for Best Girl-Girl Sex Scene in 1998, a XRCO Award for Best Group Sex Scene in 1999 and an AVN Award for Best Sex Scene Coupling--Video in 2007. Tiffany was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2001 and the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2003. She's been featured in such men's magazines as Fox, Cheri and Club Confidential. Moreover, Mynx not only runs her own official website but also owns the production companies Pagan Pictures and Tiffany Mynx Productions.
