Tiffany Haddish Announces New Stand-Up Special and Charity Initiative

Los Angeles, May 1, 2025 – Comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish is making headlines again with a double dose of exciting news. The Girls Trip star revealed today that she will be releasing a new stand-up comedy special later this year, her first since 2022’s Tiffany Haddish: Black Mitzvah.

The yet-to-be-titled special, set to premiere on a major streaming platform, promises to deliver Haddish’s signature blend of raw humor and heartfelt storytelling. 'I’ve been through a lot these past few years—growth, challenges, and a whole lot of laughter,' Haddish said in a statement. 'This special is me giving the people what they want: unfiltered truth with a side of clownery.'

In addition to her comedy comeback, Haddish announced the launch of She Ready Foundation, a nonprofit aimed at providing resources and mentorship to foster youth and aspiring comedians from underserved communities. The initiative reflects her own difficult upbringing in foster care and her rise to stardom.

'Laughter saved my life, and I want to give others that same chance,' Haddish shared. 'If I can help one kid find their voice, then all the struggles were worth it.'

Fans and fellow celebrities quickly flooded social media with support. 'Tiffany’s heart is as big as her talent,' tweeted fellow comedian Kevin Hart.

Haddish’s special is expected to drop in late 2025, with tour dates to follow. Meanwhile, She Ready Foundation will host its first fundraising gala next month in Los Angeles.
