This is a work of fantasy, and is something I truly hope to experience someday. I need to thank DA member Master-Rigger for pointers in editing and writing. I hope you like my story. ------------- I was talking to my friend on the phone when the Stranger grabbed me from behind, pinning my arms and putting his hand over my mouth. "Be quiet," he said, "and you won't get hurt." I was scared, but I nodded (the best I could, with his hand over my mouth). But, he had no intention of getting caught. "Listen carefully, you're getting tied up. And you better have something for me to tie you with." I nodded my head, too scared to say anything, and he followed me close behind. I went to my bedroom, praying he wouldn't get ideas, and took a small box from my closet. I opened it up, just enough to reach in and pull out ropes. "Here," I said meekly. I really hope

Yes, being submissive does mean (for me) that I'll submit to my guy's interest in restraining me with straps and handcuffs, though I really (and I mean REALLY) prefer rope.
I'm really not into metal, but I can deal. What I would love, is if he could deal with my love of rope.
I love the feel of rope against my skin. I love being bound with it, dressed or undressed. I think I look better tied with rope, than just restrained with leather and metal. And I just feel more helpless when tied with rope.
Also, a guy has to spend a little time tying you up. He has to know what he's doing, and has to be paying attention to what he's doing (and to you). It doesn't take a lot of time or effort to just strap up and handcuff someone. I like to see a guy put in effort, lol.
I'm not saying I never get tied with rope, but it's becoming more and more rare, while getting strapped up and handcuffed is happening more and more.
"Bound" and "tied up" means, to me, being restrained with rope, not leather and/or metal. And I need to find a better way to emphasize this.

You are absolutely right Amy. A girl looks so much sexier when she is trussed-up with rope, because she enjoys it so much more. If you were mine, I would definitely bind you with rope, and tie a chunky silk scarf between your lips to keep you quiet.
Metal restraints, and leather gags are just not my thing....keep it traditional, it so much more sensual.
Having said all that, have you ever been bound and gagged with silk scarves....?
