TickTick to-do list and task manager app #featuredApp #3

App name: TickTick
Short description: To-do list & Task Manager App
Picking up a new habit or just keeping in mind to buy those groceries, it's tricky to keep track of tasks you need to get done. TickTick takes the mess out of maintaining your day to day routine by packing all these things in one place.
TickTick is supposed to be your personal assistant while you race through the day. It keeps track of all the tasks and time at which you want to do the task. It reminds you about the task & you can set it to remind earlier so that you have a bit more time to get ready before a movie. You can make different folders to group similar type of tasks together. So stack all your bucket list in one folder and they won't be visible in your daily list. The app also has a small introduction and video to get you acquainted with the UI.
Why Should I Try out TickTick over my existing app?
TickTick has some neat features up its sleeve. First of all, you get the basic to-do functionality with reminders. It has different lists you can make for various things like birthdays, shopping lists, work, personal, etc. It also has smart lists which essentially lists the tasks for today, tomorrow and so on. It has the option to create tasks via voice so you don't have to type (for all us lazy out there). You can also customize UI by using themes, some of which are free while some are available for premium users. The bottom tab bar is customizable and you can add a Pomo timer (25:5 rule) & Habit tracker which are explained in the app. It also tracks the statistics so that you know if you've been completing your tasks on time or how regular are you with a habit you want to develop. You can also share a list with other people so that you can collaborate with them on projects or just ticking things off for the party you're planning. The widgets are also top of the class which is made keeping productivity in mind.

Our impression on this app
The UI was the best part of TickTick. It's clutter-free and minimalistic. Voice notes feature is handy and categories help to organize the tasks. It was a breeze to collaborate with other people on lists so this app is best as a planner. The widgets are made keeping productivity in mind and help to keep us focused on our tasks in hand. The overall impression was honestly quite impressive.
