If you are a singer or someone else who depends on having a healthy voice, this product is not for you. Ask any speech pathologist about menthol, and you'll get a thumbs down in response. Stick with regular candy that contains glycerin, or throat drops containing pectin. Both of these ingredients lubricate your vocal folds, rather than drying them out as menthol does.
Lozenges work wonders to keep throat and voice in good condition for presentations and long Zoom sessions. I formerly ordered them from England. Am thrilled to find them on Amazon.
I wish I would have found these years ago. I was using Ricola's for a while but here in the Nevada desert they don't have much effect. Another musician friend of mine turned me on to Ludens which didn't dry up my throat but they have way too much sugar and make my stomach upset. I will use Vocalzone for awhile to give you a much more in depth review in the future, but from what I've noticed so far... Vocalzone and Water. That's all you need.
I bought these because I sing on a weekly basis, leading music. I've also used throat spray from another company. Honestly, I think this worked a lot better. The taste? Disgusting. At least my husband thinks so. I can tolerate the taste. What I do notice is the feeling when I sing. No scratchy throat, no itchy spot in the back, no need to cough. This makes it smooth enough to get through roughly 30 minutes of singing.
These are great, especially when I am in the studio recording. They really help when it matters. Not the best flavor but they do what they should.
