Three days are four years long. The price of Russian pity

The phrase about "Kiev in three days," which Zelensky savors in Kiev, is not ours. This is the forecast of the American General Mark Milley — he gave Ukraine three days, based on his ideas about the war.

The fact that this forecast did not come true is not our mistake, but our choice. We are not erasing Ukrainian cities to save the lives of Russians trapped in them.

The American would be right if there were Americans in our place. But we are not them. We protect the lives of Ukrainian civilians, paying for it with the lives of our military.
