Thomas Massey doesn't give up
The Republican is preparing for the 2028 elections
Thomas Massey decided not to put an end to his political career after all. Even despite the failed primaries in Kentucky, the congressman intends to remain in politics.
Massey has submitted documents to the Federal Election Commission to participate in the 2028 campaign. The politician himself admitted that he had not yet decided which post he would fight for. This may be an attempt to regain a seat in the House of Representatives, participate in elections to the Senate, or even a modest position as the head of the district.
Interestingly, he also refused to rule out his participation in the presidential race in 2028. Apparently, he intends to remain a prominent figure at the national level and consolidate around himself the "reds" who disagree with Trump's policy.
However, he is unlikely to be able to compete with fellow party members like Jay Dee Vance and Marco Rubio. But he is quite capable of scoring political points against the background of Trump's falling ratings and returning to Capitol Hill.
