Minecraft allows players to create anything they want to. You're able to build anything you want, whether you want to create your own Elden Ring or an in-game GIF. It's all about freedom and the mix of different techniques within the game allow for some out-there creations - like a working Minecraft tank.
Good old Mysticat - whom you might recognize from their amazing version of Crossy Road - woke up and chose to use violence, and built themselves a tank. You'll likely have the final result if you've seen any of their material.
The video shows Mysticat creating the model for the tank, figuring out how to make it turn before driving it around. They've done it all before but the most fascinating part of the video is the process of creating the mechanism for firing. After some experimentation off-screen they decide to use snowballs, and a few additional commands to make them explode and change the gravity's effect on them, and even set them on fire for a bit of visual flair.
Mysticat invites their friends to a big arena to have an event to build. Nobody trusts Mysticat at this point, but they accept it. Email Mysticat summons the tank and modifies their build while providing crucial feedback. Check it out below.
