This Minecraft Fan Created a Working In-game GIF
Minecraft can be used for practically everything, which is something you'll know if you read our bits on it daily. We've got working multiplayer Tetris transform towns, even a huge black hole. The player made an in-game Minecraft GIF with a cow. It turns out that it is much more complicated than you think.
Check out the Reddit video below to see just how impressive this Minecraft cow GIF is. The creator of this effect, Dongxipunata, explains everything in the blog post. It is based on the same principle as Moire slit animations. GSLIST.NET This is an optical illusion created by overlapping lines. In essence, the lines cover different areas of an image and then combine with specially designed images to create motion. The image does not move in real life, but your brain believes it does because of the things that are hidden or what is shown.
They also say that "Changing resolution, viewing angle or FOV, even with something like speed potions, breaks the effect and you'd have to look for a new spot for the harmonic sample." In essence, this is an intensely specific optical illusion that is not just based on the way they've created things, but also on the settings, angles, and distance, too.
It's clear how precise Dongxipunata's movements are. The entire thing is an optical glitch. It's all a bit like an eerie monster or, even more disturbingly the 3D magic eye painting as they move closer to the cow however that doesn't take away from how amazing the effect is.
