Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. best robot vacuum cleaner have passed our tests for cleaning, and can handle different floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the best models work with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it reached carpets or rug.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a simple interface that walks you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border within the application). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large space around obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video monitoring. You'll require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up debris and dirt however, it's not able to reach every last piece of dust. It is important to clean often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to accomplish this. It is simple to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating mopping and using a lower-cost plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, despite not being able to clean your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
robot vacuum cleaners are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also features a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. The K10 Plus also has a larger bin, so you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which reduces the cost. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
