It's nearly ten years later and me and Louis finally are together, married and have three children. Our Christmas' are a lot more special now watching the kids open up their presents and leaving out food for santa on Christmas Eve. I thought my past was far behind me and I had finally managed to recover from it but with every scar comes a memory.
I woke up, in Louis' arms as usual and checked the time. It was nearly six in the morning. I treasured my last few minutes before someone woke up and therefore waking me up too. Louis stirred in his sleep and his eyes slowly opened, looking down and me a sleepily smiling.
"Morning love," He said leaning down and pecking my lips.
"Ugh, please lie with me until the kids wake."
I nodded and Louis wrapped his arms tighter around me and kissed my forehead. I smiled and then wrapped my arms around his waist as we spent the next five minutes lying together before we heard the sound of one of our children getting up. What a way to destroy the peace. Just then our bedroom door opened and our little girl came walking into our room. With that I got out of bed and went over to her, picking her up.
"Morning Molly, shall we go get breakfast?" I asked her as she eagerly nodded and I turned around to see Louis getting out of bed as I walked out of our room and down the stairs to the kitchen.
When I was in the kitchen I helped her up onto the chair and grabbed the cereal she likes then poured it into a bowl and added milk. Molly is our oldest child at the age of seven and she loves to play with her Barbie dolls and dressing up. Her favourite film is certainly The Little Mermaid, we can tell this by how she’s always singing Under The Sea at the top of her voice.
Louis came downstairs with our youngest son in his arms, Leo, he’s two years of age and a troublemaker. He certainly has me and Louis running around like maniacs. Louis put him in his chair and then went to go and get his food as I sorted out mine and his. When I had put the bacon to fry as well as the eggs and the toast was in the toaster I went to go and wake our other little girl Kaylee. She’s four years old and she’s not the type of girl that gets into trouble a lot. I went into her bedroom and saw her soundly sleeping. I then went over to her bed and softly spoke to her to wake her up.
"C’mon baby, breakfast is nearly ready," I said to her and stroked her hair as she opened her eyes and looked at me.
"Mummy," She sat up and held her hands out for me to pick her up.
I did as she asked and then carried her out of her room and back down to the kitchen. I placed her in one of the chairs and then Louis gave her her breakfast and then sat down in his chair as I finished up mine and his. I gave Louis his plate then grabbed mine, sitting down in my seat.
"Thanks love," Louis said, leaning across and kissing me briefly.
"Ew!" We heard chorus’ of as I rolled my eyes.
"Get back to eating," I said, with a little laugh and then began to eat my food.
Once we had all finished the kids went to go and watch TV while me and Louis stayed in the kitchen, clearing up from breakfast.
"So it’s nearly Christmas," Louis said, handing me a plate to wash as I nodded.
"Yeah, theres still lots of things we need to get the kids," I replied.
"Yep, and there’s things I need to get for you too," Louis said, coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"You don’t have to get me anything expensive."
"Well that wouldn’t be treating my favourite girl now would it?"
I turned around in his arms to see him beaming down at me as I smiled back, leaning up and connecting our lips. His arms stayed wrapped around my waist as my arms wrapped loosely around his neck, I was against the sink which was full of water and not very pleasant to fall into. Too bad I hadn’t found a four leaf clover as I heard a ‘Ew gross!’ really loud making me jump in fright, landing some of my butt in the water.
"Oh sh- Sugar!" I shouted as I felt my wet butt looking across at the cause of the loud voice, Molly.
"I thought you were watching TV," Louis said to her.
"I was but we can’t find the remote," She said.
"Okay I’ll go help you look for it," Louis said then turned to me apologetically then left the kitchen.
I went back upstairs to go and get changed out of my, now soaked, pajama shorts. I then brushed my hair and applied a little make-up, looking down at my scars that reminded me of my horrible past. That was nearly ten years ago but it still haunts me day after day. What would’ve happened if Louis hadn’t have found me and took me in, would I still be living on the streets?
"Trish?!" Louis shouted as I finally snapped back to reality.
"I’m coming!" I shouted back and then grabbed my handbag off the side.
We’d planned to take the kids to the park today so they could enjoy the sunshine whilst it lasted. I then went down the stairs and made sure the children had everything they needed and were all dressed before we then lead them out to the car. They jumped into the back seats and I put their seat belts on securely. I then closed the car door and got into the passenger seat as Louis got into the drivers seat after locking up the house.
"Everyone ready?" He asked as the children screamed in delight and we made our way towards the park.
The day was mainly full of the children playing in the playground and me and Louis talking and watching them before we took them to go and get ice cream. Now the children were tucked up in bed leaving me and Louis with some time to ourselves. We sat watching movies, eating popcorn and cuddling. Tomorrow is Sunday meaning one more day off before the children have to go back to school, Louis has to go to work at the studio where he worked and I was alone with Leo.
