Iridium Monitoring System has been designed to intercept Voice and Data traffic from Iridium satellite phones. This system is pre-integrated & pre-configured in a compact, ruggedized transportable casing for plug & play operations. It intercepts the signals from L-band uplink and downlink to provide the duplex calls up to 15 km and beyond that simplex calls. It uses state of the art techniques for handling Iridium proprietary protocol and provides the processed intelligible output in the form of Voice, SMS and Data sessions along with the session related information like Called Party Phone Number, Caller ID, TMSI/IMSI/IMEI and geo-location.

SCL-3415 can intercept about 32 calls simultaneously and track target on the integrated digital map. Iridium monitoring system can display the multiple targets on the map with different color flags for easy visual identification and also gives the flexibility to the operator to listen to the target call form map.

Man-Down Functionality

There is a Panic feature in an iridium monitoring system which is when triggered, sends a top-priority message over to the Iridium network. When the driver triggers the panic, the device starts beeping to indicate to the driver that the message has been sent. When the concerned person receives the message, it replies back to the vehicle, and the device then stops beeping to inform the driver that the message has been received.

Cost efficient Data

Iridium solution is a failover system; this means that the device will send data over the Iridium network only when the data can’t be sent through the cellular network. Thus, it has been strategically designed to only send specific data over the Iridium network to maintain manageable costs, but it can still receive regular data updates from assets.
