This place has really good crispy rice noodles, I craved them so much, just gave in and went there this evening and now I don't think I will be back. The problem is they have like 90 different dishes and if you accidentally order the wrong one they basically said oh well and walked away. They didn't even give me the option of purchasing the noodles separately and paying for both! Lame rude customer service. I guess I should have asked detailed questions about all 100 of their dishes! Sheesh. I feel cheated I only ate like 2 bites of my beef and my spring rolls and it cost me $13.00 and they didn't even wait for me to say I would pay for both dishes so I could get what I wanted just a rude no and walked away, then she smiles at me as I am paying! NEVER GOING BACk, I've had better Cafe Pho downtown is always nice, never rude and the food is 100 times fresher (which is the point of good Vietnamese food if you ask me). Also, I must have went there at least 6 times last summer and winter when they were supposed to be open and they were closed, so now I call just to make sure they are open.
I have not eaten at Thien Phat for a year. The last time I ate there was the last time i will ever eat there. I have always been a regular customer at Thien Phat. But what had changed my mind? The customer service. I am half Chinese & Vietnamese, even though i dont speak my language i have friends that speaks fluent Vietnamese. One day I decided to eat there with one of my friend who speaks fluent Vietnamese. Since they know i dont speak vietnamese and my friend, who looks nothing like vietnamese were ordering our food. I asked for my regular, but i wanted to change things up. I asked for skinny noodles, not fat noodles. And she said she dont know what i was talking about and as we were explaining, she finally said okay okay. When we got our food, my friend whisper to me, "They are talking about us in Vietnamese" She told me that she said she understand everything and that instead of giving me skinny noodles she just gave me LESS noodle. I was really upset. i was upset that she understand everything but instead gave me something else. I was also upset because as we were eating I have to listen to my friend tell me that the lady was also talking about other people while eating. This White American parent came in with 3 children. The waitress went on and said "American dont know how to feed their children, thats why their children are obessed" How am i going to enjoy my food while hearing them talk so much crap about their customers. So for the American folks... watch out. Therefore when i paid, i did not tip them, but i told them i understand every single word they have said and that this was the last time i was going to come here..
So I made the huge horrible mistake of ordering a non-vietnamese dish from here and I'm still regretting it. It was pretty bad. I ordered a mongolian beef and in hindsight I really have no one to blame but myself. But since I don't like blaming stuff on myself and I have a spouse, I'll just totally blame it on him for allowing me to do such a thing. Jerk. But I'm still going to go back. They have good vietnamese food. Their pho is just ok but I don't go here for the pho anyway (read my other review on pho bac). They offer other vietnamese dishes that I can't seem to find elsewhere. And I've yet to try their whole menu and I plan on trying most dishes. The inside is nice and clean and I like all the plants around. The people that work there are nice and friendly and efficient. I really just like this place because its just steps away from home so I don't have to travel far to get what I want. Dude, I'm lazy...
This is our go-to Pho place if you're near the 98118. The broth has been somewhat bland before, but has been super tasty as well. Great prices and a good bet for pho!

my boyfriend come from the Ballard area many a Sunday morning to enjoy a large bowl of Pho and a Banh Mi (with the right bread!). I think they have some of the most flavorful broth in town for their pho and some of the tastiest meat balls. the fact that we come from our neighborhood to this place says a lot. In addition to Pho and banh mi they also have hot pot, congee, fried fish and several other types of noodle soups etc, etc. I have sampled across the menu (lemon grass chicken, fish, ribs) and haven't had anything bad but nothing beats their Pho so i keep coming back to it - and their prices are fantastical large bowl of pho will runn you about 6.75. I think the pho is better here than Pho Vietnam on 15th! the menue is a mix of Viet/Thai/Chinese but I do prefer the Vietnamese dishes on the menue. Also they have Avacado smoothies/parking and a big flat screen TV. LOVE IT
Clean and roomy restaurant. Service is good. Price is reasonable. Their Com Tam is pretty good.
It's not very often when all BUT 2 bubble tea flavors are fresh! The only 2 flavors in powder were taro and honeydew (avocado wasn't ripe, yet). I came here following the Bridge to Beach Cleanup Event. Thanks to Phoenix "M", I had a great time and met wonderful ladies! I think we all left satisfied with our meals and service. My fresh coconut bubble tea was yummeh!
Really good grilled chicken (similar to teriyaki?). Just another good spot I can poke into when walking home! The butt-height bar stools are kewl and komfortable. Well-used space, big screen in corner and nice setup overall for what it is. The ladies are nice and I'm sure I'll return and try the lemongrass chicken & more.
Thanks to Darren for recommending!! I now have a new place to go to for a yummy humongous bowl of vermicelli rice noodles when I'm in the Rainier area!! The flavors were not overpowering and not bland, it was perfect!!!!! Friendly and attentive service! My cup of water never reached to the bottom!! =) I am definitely a fan of this place!
It's too bad that the pho isn't very good at this restaurant because the place was nice. The pho was bland and lacked any real flavor. I was disappointed with their pho. My friend suggested that I tried this place so I gave it a try recently. It's in a convenient location in South Seattle - just across the street from the old Chubby and Tubby on Rainier Ave. This is a newer restaurant and it's very spacious and clean inside. There's also a big screen tv if you want to eat pho while watching whatever's on. It was good to see the owners and his family eating at the table close to the register when I was there. I may have to go back and give it another try, maybe I'll order something other than pho.
We always get takeout from this place and usually order Chicken Salad and Phad Thai (shrimp or pork). I have also tried Mongolian Beef and fried egg rolls. I tend to judge the quality of a Thai/Chinese restaurant on the quality of their phad thai and Mongolian Beef, dishes which are often over done in some way...to tomatoey or too sweet, usually. Thien Phat gets them just right. Really nice phad thai, not quite as good as what I make at home, but right in their. MB is good, too. Chicken salad is excellent, great dressing and plenty of chicken. We need to venture further off the menu. But we're so happy with our "regular order", there hasn't been much reason to order anything else. They have a new appetizer combo that sounds really great. The grilled chicken I've seen people eating while waiting for takeout looks super. And I really need to check out their sandwiches...and, well, I need to venture more on the menu. It's good and we'll keep going.

I love this place to buy fruit for my family. Also great place to make tropical fruit baskets for gifts! Just tell them which fruit you want or how much you want to spend and they make a cute basket with a bow :)
This is a small local fruit and plant store. They have a variety of fresh, exotic fruits. Good price and the fruits are delicious! I love supporting small businesses.
They definitely have exotic fruits but make sure to buy them loose. Dont buy pre-packaged items because they are rotten underneath where you cant see it.
This is a small place and the owners are very nice. This is not my first time here. They have a variety of fruits like Logan's, magister, jack fruit, dragon fruits, and many more. We usually come by and buy a lots of fruits and come back buy more as we love to eat these. Exotic fruits. If you are looking for some traditional fruits from our mother land country then this is the place to go.

So down with this place. It's a flower and fruit shop. You can find all sorts of things in this tiny place. Bought a bag of rambutan, my favorite. They also had jack fruit, dragon fruit, longans, mangosteen, giant avocados and pears, and a selection of really cool flowers. Of course the selection will switch around when things go in and out of season. I'll be back. Someday.
