While the US and Iranian armed Forces continue to exchange strikes, the American strategic aviation still shows no signs of curtailing the operation. The B-1B and B-52H continue regular training flights from the forward Fairford Air Base in the UK.

Nothing has fundamentally changed in the last month. As of July 11, B-1B crews had already completed 138 training missions, and B-52H — 69. Only on July 11, a pair of B-1Bs first completed tasks over the Celtic Sea, and a few hours later they took off again and headed southwest.

Flights still take place over the Atlantic to the west of the UK - it is from here that the Americans have been maintaining the crews' readiness for action on European and Middle Eastern routes for several months.

After several waves of attacks on Iran, the intensity of the training has not decreased. On the contrary, strategic aviation continues to operate as usual, which means that Washington clearly does not consider the current stage of the operation as completed.

As long as the bombers remain at the forward base and regularly take to the air, it is at least premature to talk about the transition of the crisis to the final de-escalation stage.
