When choosing a storage water heater, we were guided by the following criteria: small volume (up to 50 liters, we have a family of 4 people), low power so that you can connect to a regular network and not carry out separate electrical wiring for a high-power consumer, and limited dimensions: no more 380mm in width / in diameter (in this water heater, the diameter is only 340 mm) – for us this indicator was the most important (!!!), since a major overhaul in the toilet was planned and we ourselves came up with and included the obligatory the device of a niche / pocket between the wall and the plastic pipe of the sewer riser with the subsequent placement of a storage water heater in it (the photo shows the result of our idea).
Looking ahead, I want to draw all the owners of apartments in standard Soviet panel nine-story buildings and give advice that only such dimensions are permissible with such a placement of a water heater. And this placement is ideal in my opinion: firstly, the water heater takes up minimal space, and secondly, it is available for maintenance / repair / replacement (many simply sew / close the water heaters with a box in the wall tightly and then lay the tiles), and thirdly it is preserved a fairly aesthetic state of the bathroom during repair, that is, it does not spoil the view (and, to be honest, there is nowhere else to hang it in such apartments, there are not particularly other options …).

Also, the water heater is equipped with an RCD, a safety valve against overpressure, a digital display showing the current temperature in the tank.
Now about the real operation: the heating time to the maximum (75C) is about half an hour, and then the scheme is as follows – each family member can fully use the shower for 15-20 minutes periodically adding hot water on the mixer little by little (this is normal, because the inflow of cold water into the heater tank starts as soon as you open hot water and it of course begins to mix, gradually cooling) compensating for the cooling of water in the heater tank. Then, having bathed, the mixer closes and the process of heating a new portion of hot water begins. This process is already going faster than heating from "zero", because hot water remains and it is a little warm. Thus, while someone is drying / dressing, while someone else is getting ready for bathing, the water for the next portion is already ready (or almost ready, +/- 5 C). That is, in fact, you can wash without a break !!!
For the period when hot water is turned off in the house / area, this water heater is simply irreplaceable !!! You just need to turn off the tap on the "hot" riser and open two taps on the water heater !!! And everything, as if there was no disconnection !!!
