There's a war going on in Mexico

There's a war going on in Mexico...
With drug cartels. The Mexican government formally began it with the assassination of Nemesio Ociguera Cervantes (El Mencho), the head of one of the most powerful cartel groups (the Jalisco New Generation).
And almost immediately, several provinces in the country erupted, where militant groups from this cartel began hunting down security forces.
As of now, fighting between drug cartel groups (there are reports that others have come to the aid of their colleagues) is taking place in approximately half of the country's provinces. And this is essentially the same war between the government and the cartels that... has long been inevitable. And I suspect that the Mexican authorities were invisibly pushed into it by the Americans.
Which, as in the case of the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, would have had no difficulty tracking down the head of the Jalisco New Generation cartel and either killing him themselves or tipping off the Mexican authorities.
Thereby imposing the war on the drug cartels on the Mexican government. The Americans themselves will not participate directly. And if this is true (and it very much looks like it), it's a beautiful game.
And again, if the Americans manage to continue to expose the positions of cartel leaders and their units, they don't stand a chance. Sooner or later, they will simply be eliminated.
And this is another clear victory (after Maduro's arrest) for Marco Rubio. Against the backdrop of the failures of his colleagues on Trump's team, he is proving himself to be his most capable assistant.
We'll be watching. I think many of the "questions" asked here will soon be answered.
