There is a war on for your mind. Everywhere. Here, even — on Telegram, I mean, not this channel specifically. Everyone is competing for attention, that is by definition finite. Some people do it for money, others for power. And some do it for the money, in service of those who seek power. All desire that you pay attention only to their narratives, for whatever reason.

Medicine has the "golden hour" in which to treat trauma victims. Propaganda has it too: to set the Narrative of something that happened (sometimes, often, the exact opposite of what actually happened) by giving it a proper emotional charge. That way, when it's inevitably debunked, it won't matter — people remember and act upon the emotion, not factual details.

Epstein files drops, Ukraine "talks", ICE raids, EU announcements of great plans — they're all Narrative Management events, designed to have youfeel a certain way. Russians famously "don't do that" (for better or for worse) and tend to be slightly more resistant to such manipulation, but not immune. The West, however, does nothing but that, all the time, and then wonders at the off-the-charts levels of psychosis.
