Fappening mod here. We're not banned. Not sure exactly what happened, but we suspect the amount of traffic we're generating effectively dossed reddit's servers. There may be other issues as well, we just don't know. But we are working with the admins and I repeat, we are not banned.
Regarding all of your edits- these are just normal issues when reddit has server issues.
I've been getting 504 errors all day. I figured it being a holiday, more people were off work and on the internet, but that doesn't really makes sense?
Well, when you have a sub that's had over 100,000 subscribers in just a day, I'm pretty sure there's going to be some shit happening.

The reason it's down is because 4chan just released a new batch which is causing a insane amount of traffic for r/thefappening .
it says it was removed due to copy right
Quick question, how do you justify this to yourself?
Odd because some threads are reporting comment thread deletions.
if you remove the last / within the url and hit enter you can load r/TheFappening links just fine... for now.
If I try to refresh or load a post with the / I get the "we couldn't pull this up fast enough for you" screen
edit: now it's not working. Should have kept my big trap shut :P
