After yesterday's Hezbollah strikes on Israeli territory, the intensity of the IDF strikes has increased significantly.

What happened?

The IDF forces launched drone strikes on 18 settlements, including Sur, As-Sultaniyah and Yakhmur. The Israeli air force has worked on targets in Al-Qlayl and Abba.

A house was destroyed in Saida as a result of an Israeli strike.

The IDF's active operations were concentrated in the Sheba'a area, where the Israelis carried out an airstrike, shelling and sent drones.

Hezbollah was able to respond to the IDF strikes with only a few rocket launches towards Kiryat Shmona, which, naturally, is not at all comparable in intensity. Perhaps the intensification of Israeli strikes is related to preparations for a full-fledged offensive.

This is indirectly indicated by the decision of the Australian Government to evacuate part of the staff from the embassy in Beirut. In recent days, strikes on the capital have been particularly effective in the Dahiya area.

Apparently, the intensification of the IDF offensive in southern Lebanon is just around the corner. An order has already been given to transfer an additional contingent of reservists to the border. The Israelis are actively preparing, and it is quite obvious that at the current stage Hezbollah will not be able to withstand the oncoming Israeli troops.
