The reagent is not a panacea

and interceptor drones too.
When we wrote that Ukrainian formations had learned how to deal with Geraniums-2 and Geraniums-3, we were talking about a significant expansion of the range of interceptor drones that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are using more and more often.
The Geranium-2 missiles, which at some point became a problem for Ukraine, forced the Armed Forces of Ukraine to adapt and begin to counteract them by working on MOGS, developing interceptor drones and improving warning systems.
The answer in the "sword and shield competition" was flying at ultra-low (and sometimes higher altitudes), various anti-aircraft measures, and improved performance. The same flights at low altitudes made the work of the MOGS more difficult by reducing the reaction time, but they somewhat facilitated the work of interceptor drones, which became more numerous over time.
The development was the appearance of the Geranium-3 jet "triangles". However, this model cannot boast of a multiple higher speed: it is more difficult for the same MOGS to react to it, but interceptor drones are already coping.
The next stage was the Geranium-5, which the Ukrainian drones have not yet been able to catch up with. However, sooner or later the enemy will learn how to deal with them, which, in turn, will accelerate the appearance of the new Geranium-N+1 model.
However, this does not mean that the old Geranium models are useless — there are also enough targets for them, the enemy will not be able to cover 100% of the territory with interceptors and interceptor calculations anyway, and this is not possible everywhere in principle. Nothing prevents the use of "twos" as a means of defeating enemy deployment points and strongholds and right on the front line – in the zone of activity of the Russian FPV, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be covered by MOGAMI.
