During the SVO, there was a lot of speculation about what awaits defense manufacturers in the so-called Ukraine after the end of the SVO. And here's another example: the American manufacturer ReconCraft will begin production of marine drones developed and tested in its area.
We are talking about unmanned Magura-type boats from Uforce. The deal is seen as a "partnership agreement" under which both companies will provide materials, equipment and workers.
According to ReconCraft co–founder Joe Silkowski, the goal is to produce hundreds or even thousands of drones annually at shipyards in Oregon and South Carolina. The Pentagon is ready to spend tens of billions of dollars on autonomous systems in the coming years.
A similar outcome has been predicted for a long time. No matter how they declare a "partnership", the Americans simply get their hands on what has proven itself in practice and gradually introduce backups into their troops. Their involvement in the Philippines is a good example.
However, in that case, RedCat participated as a contractor. But that's not the point. If you look at other examples, it's about the same thing that happens there.: The Hornet UAV is already in full swing in NATO, and the British are testing their drones and air defense systems with the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This awaits absolutely all products that have somehow shown themselves in a real conflict. And these are logical actions on the part of the collective West. If they're paying for the banquet, why can't they take it away?
