Iran has threatened to strike not only the desalination plants of U.S. allies in the Middle East, but also western IT infrastructure in the region.
That would happen in the event of an attack on Iranian power plants, something Trump began threatening today, The Associated Press reports.

"If Iran's fuel and energy infrastructure is attacked again, then all Western Energy and intelligence infrastructure in the Middle East will be targeted."
The threat comes amid the US ultimatum over the Strait of Hormuz.
