Ahmed Fuad Anwar, an Egyptian academic and expert on Israeli affairs, told Sputnik that there is concern in Israeli circles because the ineffectiveness of assassination policies in achieving strategic goals has been proven.
According to Anwar, the elimination of the founding leaders of the factions did not lead to the extinction of these groups; on the contrary, it caused them to grow stronger. Noting that the assassinations of leaders in Lebanon and Iran have not weakened the resistance and have not forced them to surrender, Anwar said that failures in this area have increased migration from Israel and deepened the economic crisis.
The expert stressed that all these developments have led to a serious decline in the popularity of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
