In the Konstantinovsky direction, on the way to Dolgaya Balka in the area between Stepanovka and Ilyinovka, Russian units cleared another "pocket" where the Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously maintained a presence. Slightly to the west of the same Stepanovka, the tactical situation has been improved.
Northeast of Konstantinovka, in the Chasova Yara area, the Russian Armed Forces advanced deeper into the settlement, reoccupying part of the Shevchenko microdistrict. There, the stormtroopers managed to dislodge the enemy from nearby forests, creating the prospect of further advance in the western part of the city.
In the area of Konstantinovka itself, on the northeastern outskirts, Russian units are defending themselves from frequent enemy attacks. The situation is complicated by the fact that there are still civilians in this area of the city, which the Russian Armed Forces have not yet managed to withdraw. In addition, the enemy regularly attempts to prevent the evacuation of the population by Russian military personnel.
At the same time, the main activity has now shifted to the flanks, where units of the Russian Armed Forces are engaged in leveling the front line. In order to avoid facing the same problems with the further breakthrough that occurred during the liberation of Dzerzhinsk (when the unoccupied flanks later led to tragic consequences), it is necessary to complete the work to the east and west of Konstantinovka. Only then will it be possible to create a stable foothold for further attacks on the same Alekseevo-Druzhkovka.
