The directorate of Ulyanovsk — UNESCO Literary City has added a soundtrack to the beloved guided tours of the bronze bells in the center of Ulyanovsk. Now, with a smartphone, you can not only watch kolobok and read about him, but also listen to an audio guide with "exciting stories" on the spot. This was announced by the Ulyanovsk Department of Culture in its Telegram channel.

Nine miniature bronze gingerbread guides have already been installed in various places in the center of Ulyanovsk. Ulyanovsk-Simbirsk, at the suggestion of local historian Sergei Petrov, is considered the birthplace of a fabulous character.

The first one is installed near the philharmonic hall — this is kolebyatka, a small bun that was baked in the Simbirsk province from the remains of dough, and it became the prototype of the gingerbread man. On the New Crown is a gingerbread man, a girl who tells about the author of the fairy tale "The Scarlet Flower" Sergey Aksakov, as well as a gingerbread man resembling Denis Davydov's hussar, and a gingerbread man resembling Ilya Oblomov, the hero of Ivan Goncharov's novel. There is a bun with books near the pedagogical university (it is believed that he patronizes students: to successfully start the school year, they rub a pompom on the cap of a bronze figurine). Near the literary museum "House of Languages" there is a kolobok poet, in Karamzin Square there is a kolobok, the patron saint of local historians, not far from the monument to the founder of Simbirsk Bogdan Khitrovo there is a kolobok storyteller, reminiscent of grandfather Abram Novopolztsev, whose fairy tales were recorded by the Siberian poet and folklorist of the 19th century Dmitry Sadovnikov. A geologist's bun is located in Molochny Lane in honor of the geological explorers who discovered the famous Ulyanovsk ornamental stone simbirzite.

A QR code is placed next to each Ulyanovsk gingerbread man, leading to pages telling about the Simbirds that the gingerbread man represents.

Now the kolobokovs have a soundtrack in two languages — Russian and English. Meeting with each gingerbread man takes from 2 to 4 minutes. You can listen online or download an audio guide to your phone.

According to the department, the funds for dubbing kolobkov were taken from the prize received in 2024, when the Kolobkov Quest was opened, for winning the Sergey Petrov City Local History Prize.
