The Ultimate Cheat Sheet For Item Upgrades
World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential element of enhancing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They are available through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon

When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus and a scaling factor that can affect other stats. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects, while others offer additional features. These upgrades can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, or gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, the item can be upgraded, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times, based on weapon's level.
Once the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged with a number of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. These upgrades can all be applied at once and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon deals.
In general, it's best to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can improve your armor defense, and then the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments, which can be extremely efficient in increasing the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the performance of certain armors, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. These upgrades may also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as rewards for quests.
The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. Most types of armor can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by just a little. Some upgrade components, however, can result in significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, a few upgrades also offer special abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be very useful in combat. For example they can increase the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial, such as the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item may require several tries. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor with a base defense of between 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this it is necessary to visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The truth is that certain armors provide significant boosts to poison or curse, fire, or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for specific builds. There are also ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration, or the challenger trait that reduces total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different effect tier, and is able to be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potions also have an individual color, which can be selected by the player via the /give. The color will affect the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions, now have a different brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. The potions are lingering and can be made with dragon breath or splash potions and a thick pot with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Problems related to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a necklace or ring. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the lateen yard of a boat. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is fixed to the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more prevalent. The trinket, at present, makes all kinds of Xx of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor an A% chance that it contains an ebony-colored replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to affect the dungeon, increasing its likelihood of generating water and grass. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor or items that are generated to solve danger rooms.
While it appears like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mysterious item appears to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, at the moment level, increases the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X%, and also gives mind sight to enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
After item upgrades have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket that requires upgrading put it in the Anvil to do so. upgrade item will have an effect on the trinket that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reorge an item for as many times as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you forged it.
You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, however it will increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
