Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items that are upgraded are components that can be slotted into weapons, armor and trinkets to offer an added benefit. They usually come at more cost and require that the item be at a certain level.

Glyphs
After reaching the 50th level in Diablo 4, Blizzard's action-RPG changes its focus from its simplified campaign into the endgame. The game's mechanics begin to change, with players forced into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons, and new grinds to ensure their character's building is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs play a significant role to this progression. A higher upgrade level for a Glyph boosts its stats and its radius of impact on the Paragon Board. There are several ways to gain these upgrades, but the majority of players will be relying on the primary method of raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs lets you add symbols to your text. You can choose them from the menu to the left of the screen. The panel initially displays glyphs in the font in which your cursor is, but you can view a different font or type style, and you can limit the glyphs available to a specific subset by selecting one of the options below the Entire Font (for instance Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). When you move your cursor over any glyph, you'll be able to find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep the track of your last 35 glyphs, and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you need to expand the panel in order that you can see all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by clicking on it with the right-click or Control-click and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
Another benefit of the Glyphs panel is that it permits you to create and modify a custom glyph set, which is beneficial when you must type certain types of text often. This will save you from needing to manually insert each glyph every time you need it.
A custom glyph set may include a maximum of 31 glyphs, including the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs of the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z), lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9), and underscore (_). The glyphs of the suffix could contain ligatures or contextual alternative which are variants that combine two or more characters into one visually unified character.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanics that provide an additional benefit to items, such stats. They are available in three different kinds: rerolling, recycling and leveling up. item upgrading offers a distinct set of bonuses that are added to an item.
Reroll Tokens let players alter the power of an item's base and the number of upgrades it has and are also used to reroll ring substats. This is beneficial when a player wishes to upgrade an item, but the "potential" power of the item is not what they're looking for. Or, if their item's substats aren't optimal.
A reroll costs 1 token and resets all upgrades on an item, but will keep the rarity, set and level unaltered. As an item is leveled up, its tier rises. The primary stat of the item will be increased by 3 points for each level. A random extra stat will be increased along with it. The level of an item is increased by 1 when you level up an item to the maximum achievable level.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are given at the beginning of each Preparation Phase. Certain recipes require the use of certain Appliances or Ingredients, and these can be purchased by selecting a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, meaning they won't be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others have a greater chance of being available when the franchise card of a particular brand is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items that are in it will remain in the pool for the rest of the run. The same goes for non-staple equipment. transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product made from recycled materials, you are not only creating a better environment, but you are also giving the item new life. Most recycled items are returned to the original manufacturer to be remanufactured as a new item. This is referred to as "closing of the recycling loop."
If a person throws something in their recycling bin at the curb it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it is separated and divided into its different components. Then it is sold to end-user manufacturers to be remade into something brand new. Remade products include:
This reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials in order to make something else. This helps reduce the harm done to nature; fewer trees are cut down, rivers are diverted, and wild animals are relocated. It also reduces the amount of pollution caused by dumping substances into our water, soil and the air.
Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs alive, especially for those who specialize in recycling materials. This is due to the fact that demand for these products encourages companies to participate in this environmentally friendly effort.
Another reason to buy recycled items is that they require less energy to create new items from recycled material than it does to create them out of raw materials. The process of making an aluminum container that is new requires 95% more energy than the production of a can made from recycled material. This is why every bit counts.
Leveling
The majority of units can increase their level, giving them more XP each time they attack or are attacked. This XP is used to unlock upgrades or increase the stats of the unit. Weapons are an excellent example of this, since they can be leveled up, increasing their damage and range.
Most leveling systems require a specific amount of levels to be completed, though this may vary from game to game. Leveling is achieved through the use of coins or materials.
