Dem steht gegenüber die wahrhaftige germanische Demokratie der freien Wahl des Führers, mit dessen Verpflichtung zur vollen Übernahme aller Verantwortung für sein Tun und Lassen. In ihr gibt es keine Abstimmung einer Majorität zu einzelnen Fragen, sondern nur die Bestimmung eines einzigen, der dann mit Vermögen und Leben für seine Entscheidung einzutreten hat. 

Wenn man mit dem Einwand kommen wird, daß unter solchen Voraussetzungen sich schwerlich jemand bereitfinden dürfte, seine Person einer so riskanten Aufgabe zu widmen, so muß darauf nur eines geantwortet werden:

Gott sei gedankt, darin liegt ja eben der Sinn einer germanischen Demokratie, daß nicht der nächstbeste unwürdige Streber und moralische Drückeberger auf Umwegen zur Regierung seiner Volksgenossen kommt, sondern daß schon durch die Größe der zu übernehmenden Verantwortung Nichtskönner und Schwächlinge zurückgeschreckt werden.

Sollte sich aber dennoch einmal ein solcher Bursche einzustehlen versuchen, dann kann man ihn leichter finden und rücksichtslos anfahren: Hinweg, feiger Lump! Ziehe den Fuß zurück, du beschmutzest die Stufen; denn der Vorderaufstieg in das Pantheon der Geschichte ist nicht für Schleicher da, sondern für Helden!
