The Tortoise Loses the Race

One day, the hare challenged the tortoise to another race. After losing the first race years ago, the hare had learned an important lesson about hard work and humility. This time, he trained every morning and took the competition seriously. Meanwhile, the tortoise became very proud because everyone still talked about his famous victory.

Before the race began, the tortoise laughed at the hare and believed he would win easily again. During the race, the tortoise walked slowly and stopped many times to rest because he felt too confident. The hare, however, kept running steadily without showing off or becoming careless.

In the end, the hare crossed the finish line first. The tortoise felt surprised and embarrassed. He finally realized that success should not make someone arrogant. Since then, both animals understood that confidence is important, but people must still stay humble and work hard.
