While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to tell if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

Although smart robot might not come with some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option for those who are willing to compromise to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. With the app you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labels of rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place, emptying the bin is relatively easy. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people, but it's one that can aid in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are among the best on the market however it's expensive.

But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates numerous tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robovacs I've tested that does a really good job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price tag.
However, if you're looking to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other great choices available, including a lot of eufy models that cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up, just attach one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app walks you through the steps needed to connect it to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be placed close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.
The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it will be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, with a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The main characteristic that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw a picture of the immovable items in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its base and resumes cleaning from where it left off.
The elegant G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin that doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
