The Three Greatest Moments In Robot Vacuum Deals History
Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba J7+, IRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to identify objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop with your voice.
Its design is superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.
In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who want both a vacuum and a mop. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell if the update is actually working until you see it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the best choice. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. They also come with many additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're expensive at full retail but often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it lacks certain features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an ideal option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. With the app you can start and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone, but it's one that will help you keep the track of your robot's maintenance intervals easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the top available - but it's also pricey.
The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tested that does an excellent job of removing the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, for instance, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price price.
If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. for beginners of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features, including stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that have the right combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a reasonable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located near an outlet with plenty of space to move.
The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, meaning it is able to fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.
The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable items in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and where it cannot access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.
The sleek G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin that does not require as much emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with bulky material like cereal.
