"The beast will be so enraged this time (зверь будет так разъярен на этот раз; time — время; случай, раз) that no arms can stop him (что его никакое оружие не сможет остановить); he will rise from the sea (он поднимется из моря) with three great swords coming out of his mouth (с тремя огромными мечами, торчащими из его пасти: «выходящими из его рта»), and he could cut to pieces and swallow the whole world (что он смог бы порубить на куски и проглотить весь мир) if it stood before him in battle (если бы тот ополчился на него: «встал перед ним в битве»).
"The beast will be so enraged this time that no arms can stop him; he will rise from the sea with three great swords coming out of his mouth, and he could cut to pieces and swallow the whole world if it stood before him in battle.
There is only one way to conquer the urfeist (есть только один-единственный способ победить большого змея; way — путь, дорога; метод, способ, образ действия; to conquer — завоевывать, покорять; побеждать), and I will show it to you (и я покажу его тебе). Take this brown apple (возьми это бурое яблочко), put it in your bosom (положи его себе за пазуху), and when he comes rushing from the sea with open mouth (а когда он стремительно приблизится из моря с открытой пастью), do you throw the apple down his throat (брось яблочко ему в глотку: «вниз по его горлу»), and the great urfeist will melt away (и огромный большой змей растает) and die on the strand (и умрет на берегу)."

Sean Ruadh went on the red steed between earth and sky (Рыжий Джон ехал на кауром коне между землей и небом), with thrice the speed of the day before (в три раза быстрее чем накануне: «с тройной скоростью дня накануне»; thrice — трижды, три раза подряд; втройне, в три раза). He saw the maiden sitting on the rock alone (он увидел девицу, сидевшую на скале в одиночестве), saw the trembling kings' sons in the distance (увидел трепещущих королевичей поодаль: «на расстоянии») watching to know what would happen (/которые/ наблюдали, /желая/ узнать, что же случится), and saw the king (и увидел короля) hoping for some one to save his daughter (который надеялся, /что появится/ кто-то, кто спасет его дочь); then he went to the princess (затем он пошел к принцессе), and put his head on her lap (и положил свою голову ей на колени); when he had fallen asleep (когда он заснул), she took the three hairs from her bosom (она вытащила три волоска у себя из-за пазухи), and looking at them, said (и, взглянув на них, сказала), "You are the man who saved me yesterday (ты тот самый человек, который спас меня вчера)."

He saw the maiden sitting on the rock alone, saw the trembling kings' sons in the distance watching to know what would happen, and saw the king hoping for some one to save his daughter; then he went to the princess, and put his head on her lap; when he had fallen asleep, she took the three hairs from her bosom, and looking at them, said, "You are the man who saved me yesterday."

The urfeist came up enormous (появился большой змей, огромный), terrible to look at (на него страшно было взглянуть), with a mouth big enough to swallow the world (с пастью таких размеров, что он мог бы проглотить весь мир: «с пастью достаточно большой, чтобы проглотить мир»), and three sharp swords coming out of it (и из нее торчали три острых меча: «и три острых меча исходили из него»).
The urfeist was not long in coming. The princess roused Sean Ruadh, who sprang to his feet and went to the sea. The urfeist came up enormous, terrible to look at, with a mouth big enough to swallow the world, and three sharp swords coming out of it.
