Kana Television, is an Ethiopia-focused general entertainment, free-to-air, satellite TV channel. Its line-up covers a rich selection of homegrown content combined with an unbeatable selection of popular international entertainment programs, entirely dubbed in Amharic by trained and talented actors at our custom built, ultra-modern studios in Addis Ababa.

Organization/Job Background

BeMedia PLC would like to hire 7 Junior Quality Controllers who will base at its headquarters on Bole Japan road, Sinan Commercial center.

Job Description/Deliverables

Responsibilities: - Watch each segment in each episode and look for quality issues - Send comments to the concerned team for correction - Do another round of quality check on each episode that had quality issues. - Provide daily delivery report to supervisor - Cut scenes that are not compliant to the QC guideline.

Qualifications needed

- BA/BSC degree in any filed - Computer skills- good knowledge of Microsoft Office - Good understanding of Ethiopian Culture - Good skills in languages (English, Amharic, and proverbs, etc…) - Should have a good common sense and has proficiency for the Amharic Language - Attention to details - Strict with deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
