Organization/Job Background

BeMedia PLC would like to hire 10 Synchronizers and Translators who will base at its headquarters on Bole Japan road, Sinan Commercial center.

Job Description/Deliverables

Responsibilities: - Do character mapping of shows - Translate scripts from English language to Amharic - Translate in simple words that can be understood by audience - Should be culturally sensitive and contextualize when translating - Should make sure translated dialogues match to lip movements when synchronizing.

Qualifications needed

- BA/BSC degree in Literature, Journalism and Communications and related fields. - Computer skilled - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Fade in and fast in typing Amharic and English (Average 45 words per minute) - Good Command of English and Amharic languages - Good understanding of Ethiopian culture - Attention to detail - Strict with deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
