Another awesome feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can manage the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a nice method of monitoring and managing your refrigerator, especially if you're away from home.
The Smart InstaView feature is neat but it doesn't enhance the performance of the fridge. This fridge took longer to defrost food and chill it than some others we tried. This is likely due to its bigger capacity.
The doors are a different issue with this refrigerator. The handles that are sunken allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a hard time closing them without slamming them. It would have been much better to have front-mounted handles.
The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those looking to blend the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. It has a capacity that is higher than average for counter-depth models and also cools evenly.
