Boss The Scent Private Accord for Her News
I love the scent line from Hugo Boss so much :**
Private accord is a very unique warm-spicy perfume. It is my signature scent in winter.
It is very refined, interesting and seductive.

This perfume smells more refined than what advertisement shows you - a mandarin covered in melted chocolate.
Fragrance opens up with a Mandarin*, but it does not smell like a fresh mandarin. It smells like a mandarin peel - citrusy and a bit bitter. Then you will get Cocoa Powder* and Coffee Powder* - not melted chocolate which can easily get sickening over time. It also has an Osmanthus* - a creamy apricot-scented flower which adds creaminess and thickness to the fragrance and Tonka Bean* which further deepens and enhances the existing notes.

For me this was a perfume that i liked even more after time.
It has a weak performance of only 2 hours until it turns to a skin scent. I spray it in my hair and on my clothes and it lasts longer.
With how deep and rich the opening is you'd think this kind of scent would have better longevity than it actually is.
This is perfect for gourmand lovers, but it doesn't last long! I love the orange cacao combination. Men love this smell.
Private Accord for Her EDP🤎
Sweet- powdered coco with whiffs of orange 🍊
This fragrance smells so good it will make you want to lick it off your skin in the opening.
It’s very comforting and very gourmand.
Definitely a compliment getter.
But there is one serious downside.
The longevity is terrible.
You will have to continue to spray this all day to keep the magic happening.
There are traces of coffee bean and regardless of what’s listed in the fragrance notes, there is definitely vanilla going on.
The orange note and osmanthus are not dominating.
Very sweet and absolutely sexy.
Great fragrance for those who love chocolate fragrances 🤎
Very first impressions: very strong and sweet, can smell the osmanthus and mandarin front and centre first. For some reason it's giving me Angel edp vibes- think it's the fruit and patchouli. It's very "perfumey" and kind of 90s/y2k. Need to see how it develops but feels like a powerhouse/going out out perfume so far.
Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord was love at first sniff. It smells like Kingsbite Chocolate 🍫. Would have been in my top 10 designer fragrances for life if not for the performance. All the same, it’s a beauty to have in your collection with notes such as cocoa, orange 🍊, Tonka bean 🫘, coffee ☕️ and osmanthus.
It’s a very nice chocolate orange fragrance, smells great on my skin. The longevity is not that great, making it slightly overpriced compared to some of the other flankers in this range that are quite long lasting
I really like the scent, I just wish it had more depth and that is was stronger. What a shame it could have been so much better.
Can smell the orange and coffee/ choc
This is the most beautiful portrayal of dark chocolate that I have come across that does not last at all. It is just ugh.... saddest face!

I had to return my bottle because I just could not justify paying this price. I would pay 25 EUR max for the perfume because of this.

I hope the dumb dumbs at Hugo Boss realize what a gem they have here and make it stronger.
The reviewers on YouTube described this as a juicy mandarin drizzled in chocolate, which sounded so delicious, two of my favorite things so I was really excited and didn't even care it doesn't last long. But this is so lackluster, there is nothing juicy about the mandarin, it's a barely there fruitiness. And I don't smell chocolate, I smell a faint cacao powder. So the smell is weak to begin with, but then it fades away after an hour. So it's not so disappointing to let it go, since even if it smelled how I expected, the quality is low. I will keep looking for a delicious chocolate orange/mandarin scent, if anyone knows of a good one, DM me the suggestions please.😊🍊🍫
Not a very interesting fragrance, just smells like a chocolate orange. Quite weak and doesn't last long.
If you're about to buy this please read this first.
so this perfume smells AMAZING! especially few minutes after the sprays, and as for something like the first one or two hours (at least for me).
The problem - THE LONGEVITY THE THE MOST POOR LONGEVITY I'VE EVER TRIED!
At first the sillage is really good, you can really smell it all over you (of course if you dont like orangy-choclaty kind of smells do not get near to this one).
After two hours you litteraly need to press your nose to your wrest to smell this, you can't even call it a skin scent, it's that horrible. but still, the smell is amazing.
To my opinion, it could have being tottally concidered to be a unisex perfume, I dont know why hugo boss made this a female scent, but dont let it scare you if you're a female and looking for something feminine, its really so sexy, and if you're wearing something sexy with it people will treat you like a choclate bar. Also men, I will go crazy if I'd sit next to a man smelling like this, if we're forgetting about the poor longevity and sillage and talking only about the smell, this is a totally safe buy for guys.
back to the problem - the longevity.
If you do want this perfume because of the smell - you can just use it as for short meetings (I actually think it could be really cool to go with it on work meetings, its sexy but in a super sophisticated way), over spray it, grub it with you in your hand bag and give it more sprays every few hours while going to the toilette (the bottle is kinda small and you can easly take it with you), layer it with other choclatycoffeecocoa perfumes (like prada candy night, angel muse, black opium and such) - so there are some things you can do to use it.
If you don't have time to spray during the daynight, I wouldnt buy it because it would be a big disappointment and a waste of money. there are other perfumes out there that blends orangy-smells with choclate, not a lot but there are (there is the new "yes I am delicious" perfume that has just being released - its choclate with orange blossom, im not sure if its the same but I know the "yes I am" range got some really good longevity and their price is also really good).
This is a very good fragrance, but on my skin it is a bit flat and it gets very very dry...like a dark chocolate powder..slightly bitter...not sweet..I wish it could be more like liquid chocolate. Im not sure if I will buy it again, cause I have to overspray it to just get a little smell of it :(
I really wish this lasted longer because the actual smell of this fragrance upon first spray and the hour or two that it actually lasts is sooo incredibly amazing. It’s sensual and gourmand. It’s so yummy that I just wanna cuddle up with my damn self but it doesn’t last! But this is a good scent to spray right before getting in bed with your man. 🔥 If the performance was better I swear I’d reach for this over almost every niche fragrance I own.
Far more similar to BS private show then to its flankers. I mean so, so close to BS. Same caramel sweetness and creaminess. I find BS to have better projection and sillage but private accord is not necessarily a skin scent. It stays close within my bubble but I can easily catch traces as I move about. I don’t find it synthetic at all but alas, every nose is different. I will say it is indeed delicious and private accord is the most edible in comparison to absolute and intense. As I mentioned before, the bind that ties them together is that they’re all gourmands but they differ greatly from one another.
There's a great review by @Blondette somewhere down this thread. And she perfectly desribed my impressions. So I will just recap shortly:

Stunning opening, literally tangerine in chocolate. Dark, but juicy, sort of fresh. Same on clothes. Truly brilliant.

Give it ten minutes and it morphs into flat sickly sweet, artificial scent. Extremely ordinary as you smelled this structure a hundred times in hundred other gourmands released in last 10 years.

I so wanted to like this and buy that wonderful bottle. Can't help it.

5/10
When I smell this I get a mental image of a mandarin slice dipped in dark chocolate with mocha powder sprinkled on top. I really, REALLY like this. I just wish it lasted longer....
the opening is sweet & citrusy. However I cannot stand the sweetness as it felt abit too sickening for me, And the orange cacao sweetness remained even with the dry down on my skin. kinda sad as I do love the opening scent.
In my opinion, this is just okay. I was surprised how poor the lasting power was on my skin. It's a nice coffee scent especially for fall and winter, that's all. I expected it to be delicious and gorgeous but it wasn't. Many people seem to love this so this must be an unpopular opinion.
Lovely sent of sweet chocolate. Its not overwhelmingly sweet just the right amount of milk chocolate maybe like a chocolate orange if you've ever experienced one of those. Its honestly so good and one of the best perfumes I have tried in a really long time.
Chocolate covered oranges with coffee, tonka bean and osmanthus that adds a bit of peachy freshness.
It reminds me of those Terry’s milk chocolate oranges. This is such a yummy scent! It’s a beautiful sweet fragrance with just a tiny hint of fresh to help balance it out. Longevity isn’t the best so I do have to reapply it during the day but the scent itself makes up for it.
I was not too excited to use it in almost a year, but something happened and I've been using it non-stop for the past week. I'm talking all day, every day. 5 sprays in the morning, 5 more in the afternoon, 5 more before going to bed. The spray count may seem excessive normally, but this isn't a loud perfume and it doesn't last too long. 5 sprays seems to me the adequate amount for one wear.

This is such a warm, delicious scent! Bright and uplifting in the start, sweet and cuddly in the dry down. Gets rid of my winter blues like no other scent. It's universally appropriate and I never found it to be too much of anything. It's quite soft really, but when you get close it's really fun. I think this is the winter I'll finish my cute little 30ml bottle. Am I going to repurchase it? Maybe, I do own too many perfumes right now so my priority is to first of all finish at least half of what I already have. But once my collection goes back to the normal size for me (20-ish fragrances)? I certainly might!
The dry down of this fragrance really reminds me of a fragrance by Hugo Boss which I believe has now been discontinued, Boss Orange SUNSET, so there is so much nostalgia for me with this fragrance.

At first I was disappointed because the chocolate orange and milk chocolate note dissipated VERY quickly on my skin however, the dry down, which leans a lot more floral with the creamy chocolate orange accord only subtly piercing through, took me back to my days in Uni/College, when I was starting to build up my fragrance collection, figuring out what on earth a “Fragrantica” was and figuring out what fragrances worked for me and which didn’t (so many didn’t!!!) Honestly, there so many frustrating but funny memories on my fragrance journey!!!

I decluttered Boss Orange Sunset then because it had such poor performance and avoided Hugo Boss fragrances for years because of it. However, I still adored the scent and missed how beautiful the orange blended with the vanilla as it really felt like a fragrance appropriate for the sunset in the summertime and I remember Sienna Miller being the face of it back then too!

It’s just so amazing how one fragrance can take you back to an exact place and experience and even though this fragrance’s performance is subpar as I expected, I’m actually grateful that The Scent Private Acccord For Her does just that for me so for that alone, this fragrance is an absolute love ❤️.
Sooo pretty and sensual. It makes an inspired choice for winter and holidays because all it does is remind you of happiness, gifts, hugs and snowy winters. I wish it had a better performance but still, I might live with it since I like it so much.
A very weak perfume that vanishes within 30 minutes. Salvatore Ferragamo Amo is WAY BETTER than this one in performance, it smells much nicer and long lasting. So is the dry down. Louise Turner makes poor perfumes that doesn't last long. I have noticed. They may open up very nice but eventually a waste of money and disappointment. $100 for a 100ml bottle that doesn't perform at all is just crap. Wonder why they used the 50 shades team to advertise this one. It's just a marketing strategy to sell poorly made perfumes for such money.
on me this behaves beautifully. I definitely have more of that orange and osmanthus mixed with a chocolatey background. I feel like it could be more gourmand but it works really well for me. Longevity is a solid 4 hours on skin - village is more or less at arms length however on clothes it lasts for a very long time.
On my clothes, I get more orange and cocoa, but on my skin it's just floral. Disappointed that the perfume is only floral on my skin. I was looking forward to more of that burst of citrus and then a chocolate scent.
I hate the initial spray - it smells like alcohol mixed with cacao. I almost sold it but thought of giving it one more chance. I wore it today and I think it's just okay. The cacao note is strong, then the orange note comes after a few seconds. On my skin, the dry down is salty chocolate. On clothes, all I smell is the cacao. Projection and sillage are not that impressive too.

I don't hate it now like the first time, but definitely not a favorite. Not a safe blind buy. You have to really like cacao notes to love this.

Beware: I think this is not good for hot days.

Rating this 4.5/10
When I first sprayed this in the store I loved it. It was citrusy and slightly gourmand but not very sweet. Perfect for a summer night out or day... since I love this kind of scent. The problem is that it does not last more than two hours and the dry down is this fake chocolate and coffee that I can not stand. It's a very artificial scent.
Straight up, mandarin orange dipped in chocolate. Delicious. Doesn't last on the skin as much as it does on clothes
Gorgeous fruity chocolate!
Like dark milk chocolate with dried fruits and a good cupa coffee. I looove having chocolate and coffee in the morning. I thoroughly enjoy this scent. I bought it as I was on a chocolate perfume buying spree (looking at you Roses and Chocolate Montale & Oriflame Love Potion). No regrets, this perfume really delivers a soft in chatacter gourmand. Not intrusive at all, gentle with moderate longevity 4-5hrs.
I think i should test again all perfumes i wasnt impressed with in the past, because so many perfumes i love now, were not a love at the first sniff. I liked this one. But it wasnt a "wow". Also the longevity was so bad, that i kind of promised myself i would never buy something like that. Because, for me, one of the most important things about the perfumes is the performance. But when i saw it yesterday in the store for half a price, i decided to give it a try even tho i already knew, i was going to be annoyed with the longevity. BUT! you guys.. first of all, it smells so delicious. Exactly like chocolate and mandarin. I spray mainly on my clothes and i could still smell it on my t-shirt this morning. On the skin, indeed, it lasts only for a few minutes. So, if you wanna buy this one, but hesitate because of its poor longevity, i recommend overspraying on your clothes.
Also, i really like the bottle and the cap that - ulike caps on some other perfumes - stays on. Not sure why is it so hard to make a good perfume cap. And we are not talking about cheap perfumes, but about brands like Mugler or Guerlain.
If you're looking for a realistic chocolate note in a fragrance, make sure you try this one. It's a very soft and pleasing fragrance with a slightly fruity opening and a floral heart. Even though cacao is listed as a base note, it will be noticed immediately and during the first few hours, not so much in the drydown. Tonka is so lovely here. If it were warmer, I'd like it more. Even though it's a gourmand, it's not a love for me, but I do strongly recommend it.
It’s a yummy smell... That’s all. It’s barely noticeable on my skin. Such a shame. The design of the bottle is captivating and delicious though.
Don't think I would want to repurchase this fragrance. The more I wear it the more I am over it. Just a cirtusy powdery cacao smelling fragrance with a little bit of a spice kick to it. I always layer this with something which lets me know its not an enjoyment but rather a "get throuh it" attitude. Longevity is absolute nothing really even on clothes for what this perfume costs. I would also only wear this in the fall and winter colder weather. I just don't even have much else to say about this except meh.
I quite like this, but not enough to repurchase once my juice ran out. It’s not a refined scent, as other said, but it can serve as a cure for cocoa cravings or when you don’t want to spray the more expensive perfumes. It’s cocoa
mixing with orange which creates a yummy scent, but I feel that it’s too young for me. Not a scent for someone who is 25+ (but of course, where what you want! this is just my opinion). It only lasted 3 hours on me so that’s another downside on top of that.
I bought it today and have been wearing it for a few hours now. It is a lust at first sniff, the top notes really capture you, sweet cacao and subtle mandarin is very noticeable at first spray. HOWEVER, it is not a refined scent. It smells very very cheap and synthetic, too much of the alcohol/preservatives/chemicals come through and I have to leap for the cacao and barely there mandarin through a sea of synthetic chemical pollution.

It smells like all The Body Shop perfumes in the sense that it smells highly cheap, synthetic, artficial and diluted. Somewhat badly blended too or confused at best.

It has a weak longevity and little sillage. On my skin it lasted for about 2 hours and the dry down was a very artificial smelling vanilla. Cheap. This is not an expensive perfume but its highly overpriced for the quality.

I can understand the hype but its not for a refined nose. It might do better in cold weather. I am a lover of sweet, gourmand fragrances but i was struggling to catch it in Hugo Boss The Scent private accord. Way too artificial and diluted. It is a no for me and lesson learned: do not buy a new fragrance during mercury retrograde.
Powdery sweet coco/vanilla with a pleasant fruitiness. I pair this with my vanilla deodorant at bedtime and enjoy the light sweet scent of myself.
Different, slightly more substantial and frankly better than the original The Scent for Her (or The Scent for Her Intense). Both extremely sweet, but the OG/Intense is mostly peach, while Private Accord relies heavily on cacao. Unfortunately (in addition to sweetness) they share a relatively weak perfomance.
I am v disappointed by this scent. One of my favorite YT reviewers recommended it so it was a blind buy. It smells extremely artificial and I can not stand it :/. 0/10 would recommend.
Love the opening: chocolate and orange. But it quickly dries down almost identical to Pink sugar on my skin...and it lasts way less time.. so not worth it in my opinion, just get Aquaolina Pink sugar and maybe layer it with a chocolate perfume/perfume oil
I used to have this and I really loved it. The smell lasted on me for hours and I got a lot of compliments.
It smells like cacao, not milk chocolate, mixed with mandarin. The longevity is great, but the sillage reduces after a couple of hours.
But after having it for a full year I
