A Turkish warrior named Ertugrul from the 13th century, one of the most famous warriors of his time, and also the father of Osman (the founder of the ottoman empire). He is a ambitious man who wants to bring peace and peace. He is in a war with the crusaders at one side, the Byzantines at another side and the brutally expending mongols who killed a lot of Turks at another side. In between this he is in a psychological war between his love and his so called destiny.
The heroic story of Ertugrul Ghazi, the father of Osman (Uthman) who founded the Ottoman Caliphate.
My husband started watching Dirilis & stayed glued to the TV. It takes some getting use to reading the sub-titles. The acting overall was very good. The action scenes could be made to look a little more real. He would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys historical events & would like to see more such series.
Excellent production, excellent and solid story line. All the actors and actresses are so believable and skilled in their roles. One of the best TV series I have seen even though subtitled in English. best foreign film I have ever seen congratulations.just wonderful. Look forward to season 3 on Netflix. Thoroughly recommend this series.
