Roasting

Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate. It mellows, and turns into warm to your senses. The cocoa sourced from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a cup that is a great drink by itself, or with milk chocolate or cake. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges extremely well.

When brewing this coffee we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel using some of the boil water to ensure it is warm and ready for brew. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for 4 minutes, this ensures that the grounds are fully saturated and not over extracted. The water must be pushed through using the plunger. Don't stir or agitate your coffee as this can cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in your cup.

Strength - 3, gentle and easy to go, great for weekend relaxing.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast with a sweet cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a soft mouthfeel that sooths the palette. The cocoa-like hints can be traced to the days of winter spent on the sofa, reading a good book with a warm family hug. Make sure to heat your French Press by using water that isn't yet at the boiling point. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from extracting too much and forming unwanted elements in the drink. Add your grounds along with 250ml of water that has just boiled. For 4 minutes, simmer before letting it plunge and then enjoy.
