Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to double stroller by the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be set up into a triple travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. It comes with 24 options in total and is the most highly rated stroller. This model uses Baby Jogger's soft, breathable TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the leading single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebar is among of the simplest to adjust and works for parents of all sizes. The seats recline and have a footwell adjustment knob so you can position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious, but we wish it had a latch that was more secure. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers are a bit annoying because they need to be unfastened and then secured again after each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or parents with a single child and a baby coming soon. It can be used with most major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a great option for families that already have a car seat but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
