True love never grows old but honesty is always the best policy. 20 years ago, Lauren broke Hunter's heart. With no real explanation, Lauren left. Now all Lauren does is work, work and work. Hunter does have a social life but has renounced relationships. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find out their true feelings. Like all her other books, I was hooked from the start. I'm already looking forward to part 3 of the Dallin series.

Another good story by KA Moll. Fun to be back in Dallin with the characters in the first book. These new characters were a pleasure to read and I was invested in their story. Looking forward to book 3

I really enjoyed book #2 in the Dallin series, just as much as book #1. Both of these stories of finding your long lost 1st love were so beautiful and captivating to read. Really enjoying them and looking forward to the next. I am now "following" K. A. Moll.

Hunter and Lauren (Renny) met as young teens and were in love by high school. Due to a poor choice made by Renny and her "me first" attitude, they were apart for over 20 years. However, the love they shared never stopped for either of them. Can they learn to accept the past in order to live in the now? Of course, that is the rest of the story. Both women's personalities were very well described. I was able to really get "inside" to their thoughts, their wishes, their regrets. I enjoyed seeing how they were able to grow as partners. Also, I welcomed the chance to meet up again with the characters in the first book of the series. Great dialogue throughout. Really looking forward to more stories in the next book. Highly recommend this series. It has now become one of my all time favorites. Many, many thanks to the author for sharing this with the rest of us.

I enjoyed the first 3/4. There were some editing problems, but overall it was pretty good. The last 1/4 just seemed slow. Like it was wrapping up loose ends.

I really enjoyed these characters and their story. Easy on the angst which I'm grateful for. This book had an easy flow to it which made it hard to put down.

I loved the story of Lauren and Huner getting back together again, after Lauren gave up on their young love. The setting is beautiful. Nice to be able to follow up with the characters from Twice upon a train

This was a very good book. I enjoyed reading it. Enjoyed the two MCs Hunter and Lauren. It was a reawakening of a 20 year old relationship. Lauren finally understanding what she needed to have a happy life with Hunter. Hunter finally acknowledging her wants and needs to have Lauren in her life and what to do and to keep her in her life forever. I hope there is another book in the Dallin series.

Another great story in book 2 from this author. It was great to catch up with characters from book 1 and lovely characters in book 2. Love happy endings. Will there be a book 3.

Behind the throttle of a Black Hawk, Hunter Morgan was fearless. As a firefighter, she steps up when others step back. A handsome woman with a big heart and dark secrets, she hasn't flown or dated since she was in the military and doesn't plan to.
As a physician, Lauren Briscoll has made it her practice never to turn away a patient. She eats her meals on the go and sleeps fewer than five hours most nights. At forty, she’s alone by choice, running through life. When Lauren's grandmother dies, she does what she rarely does, she takes time off, returning to her hometown to wrap up her affairs. While there, she reunites with the girl she loved in high school on an aerial ladder, questions what she once believed, and feels what she hasn't felt in years.
What's the chance that a guarded ex-soldier and a workaholic physician can rekindle what they once had? Slim to none, right?

Good American Christian movie. Tame movie for everyone else
A sweet movie about a religious family trying to protect their daughter from unwanted influences. However this movie is almost too sweet and too mild for anyone not raised by a fairly well-of, religious and protective family. The movie was by no means unreal, but its a movie I think very few could relate to. The acting and cinematography was pretty average, and the music reflected the American Bible-belt setting the movie takes place in, which helps set the scene and location, but is a disadvantage to the movies emotional dept, which I think this movie will seem surreal or too tame to provoke enough emotion to make this movie interesting to anyone who is not from a very religious American bible-belt family. I am from Europe, and have lived in both Bible belt America and America outside of the bible belt. The love shown by the father is touching and the issues raised here are good family value issues, presented in a good clean way for the Bible-belt Christian and for them I might rate this movie a 6 or a 7. For everyone else this movie does not hit enough debts to make it all that interesting and for them I will rate this movie a 3.

Hannah White : I'm not allowed to go out with guys.

On her expansive debut album, singer/songwriter/producer Hayden Silas Anhedönia introduces her alter ego Ethel Cain, a Southern anti-belle desperate to escape the smothering grip of familial trauma, Christianity, and the American dream. On Preacher’s Daughter , the Florida-reared conceptualist and recovered Southern Baptist finds a sense of freedom in darkness and depravity, spinning a seedy, sweeping, slowcore yarn of doomed love and patriarchal oppression with cinematic ambition. Cain allows the titular preacher the first word on droning opener “Family Tree (Intro),” then teases a little pop-star charm on the twangy “American Teenager,” before digging her teeth deep into sex, drugs, violence, and rock ‘n’ roll with the provocative pout of Lana Del Rey. She laments a lost love on the heartland heartbreaker “A House In Nebraska,” hitchhikes west on the sprawling Americana saga “Thoroughfare,” and spirals into Dante’s hell on the thunderous industrial nightmare “Ptolemaea.” Cain’s voice haunts and lingers like a heavy fog, long after she’s devoured by a cannibalistic lover—in a blaze of glam-metal guitar—on the album’s grandiose finale, “Strangers.”
