The No. One Question That Everyone Working In Best Robotic Mop And Vacuum Needs To Know How To Answer
Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with a specialized app to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pets, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.
The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for an intense clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system that will lift the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line mop and robot vacuum. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it was able to perform well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. In addition the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads that are bought separately, are required to be replaced on a regular basis too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can buy, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a wish than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.
As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. auto vacuum was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing, but this may be improved when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've crafted. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.
Like all Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized manner. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but might not be able to detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
